well yesterday truly marks the end of an era, working at Open House Deli over the last 4 years became my life here in Winchester. it's bittersweet, sad and exciting all at the same time but the highlight of my experience is the people I have met along the way and the friends I have gained. i will miss that kitchen with all my heart but it's time for someone else to run it. many thanks to Bex and all that she's provided me, not only the best day of your life but the best of mine 💚

“every woman is a fucking goddess!!” - @hernameisbanks ❤️

happy iwd to the women who feel unseen, to the women who feel empowered, to the women who’ve yet to embrace their inner queen, and to the women that’ve let go of the inner coward.

you are all powerful, beautiful, visionary goddesses. don’t let anyone ever fuck with your crown, because you own so much worth.

this world needs to celebrate and support women more often, because we are the moon, we are Mother Earth, we are the intuition and warmth and the ones that give life through birth.

I hope you don’t only celebrate yourselves this day, because every 365 should lead a self-love way ❤️

here’s an ode to all the little mothers ❤️

@kampfestivals was a bust.

They were literally not going to tell us that the majority of the artists we paid to see weren’t even coming to the festival. Needless to say, we were pissed off & demanded refunds. But, since I’d already booked our room for 2 nights, we just stayed & made our own fun. ☺️🥰

Pasadena Hotel and Pool is a cozy hotel with ski lodge/vintage vibes. We loved it!! Even more than where we stayed last weekend. It was extremely chill.

I love making memories with my best friend 🤟🏽🤟🏽🥰🥰

Because we’re gonna have fun no matter what happens.

And I finally got to hang out with my sweet buddy @gottyxo !! I’m so glad we got to hug & chat & eat & chill. Love ya to bits. I’ll have to come to England now to visit you 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

✨gratitude soothes the soul✨

Let’s not mince words, I’m in the midst of a crisis.

I had a breakthrough today when I realised that actually, I forgive him. I forgive him for not knowing better, I forgive him for behaving badly, but most importantly I forgive myself for not choosing myself more. For doubting myself. For hating myself for eroding my boundaries in search of external validation and support from a man who could never give that to me in this form.

There’s power in this knowledge and position.

2020 was a rough year, I had fun though, and discovered who I was. @gottyxo and I went out to get sunflowers and be wholesome - it was cold af not that you can tell from my pictures ha! And we dicked around making bouquets of sunflowers.

Funny thing about sunflowers, they’re so strong, so tall, so bright but the stems are scratchy and rough. They’re hard to cut down. And yet they brighten a room.

I think I’d like to be more like a sunflower - not to sound insane haha - but I’d like to stand proud and weather the elements, safe in the knowledge that I being sunshine to the rooms I walk into. 🌻

I’m grateful for the friends I’ve made, for the experiences I’ve had, and the support that allows me to explore, dip, grow, and develop workout judgment without fear and without compromise.

Im also unbelievably grateful that he broke my heart. Without this I don’t think I’d have found the strength to face life in the eye and say, you know what, I demand more.

So *****, thank you.

See you soon on @modernwomanry
