This time last year, Day Trips to Earth Court offered a moment of pause. A break from technology and the pace of everyday life.

Together, we explored what matters most to each of us through conversation, reflecting on themes of ecological resilience, regeneration, and how these ideas might track back into our respective communities, practices, and industries.

Then we checked the rock, played pickup under the summer sun, and continued the conversation the best way we know how...

By lunchtime, we made our way to Grace Farms for a shared meal and a series of guided tours before everyone jumped back on the Sprinter and headed home.

These were special days, spent with people who, for the most part, had never met before. Basketball became a conduit for connection, curiosity, and community. The game brought us together and everything else fell into place. Can’t wait to run it back.

Still soaking it all in…😊

I had the honor of participating in the PRX Creative Design Workshop during the PRX Podcast Creator Summit in Atlanta; a 3-day immersive experience rooted in design thinking and user experience principles🙌🏾

It’s modeled after PRX’s signature design sprints (aka: life-changing), and the goal? 👉🏾 Help us develop real solutions to real challenges in podcasting and media (also can be used in daily life if we being real)👏🏾

We didn’t just talk… we brainstormed, built, broke things, and rebuilt 🫩 In teams of strangers turned collaborators, we reimagined and relaunched an actual podcast for a real listener in the U.S. And we did it all in HOURS, not weeks 😅

The process was fun, intense, collaborative, and beautifully chaotic ☺️ & we pitched our final concepts to none other than Patrick Cherry & Stacy Bond of Apple Podcasts 😳 a wild, incredible moment🙏🏾

The feedback, the learning, the creative sweat... it was all worth it💯

Deepest thanks to the whole PRX crew👏🏾 especially Stephanie, Pouncie & Mike for the guide and Patrick & EJ for being the light (and letting me go all in with it)☺️

And here’s your reminder to Apply even when your unsure🧏🏾‍♀️ I hit submit not knowing if I’d be chosen… & I’m so glad I was🤩

So if this workshop ever hits your city 🙋🏾‍♀️ go for it📌

Bet on yourself & surprise yourself 💁🏾‍♀️
