Things are coming together as we continue making great progress!

Inside, carpet tile installation is underway, floor grinding continues in preparation for upcoming finishes, and elevator installation has officially begun. Millwork is installed, interior doors are starting to go in, whiteboards and tack boards are in place, ceiling tile installation is complete, and various finishes throughout the first and second floors are wrapping up!

On the exterior, landscaping is taking shape as trees and bushes are planted, while sidewalks and benches are installed throughout the site. Playground and courtyard canopies have been set, painting of the existing solar panel canopies is underway, and all exterior metal panels have been installed.

Great progress inside and out as we continue moving closer to project completion!

We’re onsite with Senior Project Manager, Ray Luke, as he breaks down what it takes to double the size of an open and operating ambulatory surgery center.

With surgeries continuing every day, construction has to adapt to the facility - not the other way around. Every phase is strategically planned to protect patient flow, support staff, and minimize disruption to critical operations.

By managing the complexity behind the scenes, Birch helps healthcare providers continue delivering exceptional care to the McKinney community.
