Happy 15th birthday to the caboose of our family. Everyone loves Clay and it’s hard to imagine life before him because he completed us. When mom passed, it was a no brainer for us to have donations (in lieu of flowers) be made to her church. She loved her church so much and was a staple there for nearly 6 decades. The church took the money donated and bought a new pulpit in her honor…..totally humbling but also totally appropriate for mom. Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you to Crown View for being my mom’s 2nd family and loving her through the years. 🙏🏻❤️

I have never been so excited to plan a wedding! I started praying when my kids were little for “their person” to come along and we all love Zach! I know my mom is probably dancing the Charleston in heaven because she is so excited for our Gracey Girl ❤️ ❤️ I really wish Zach had thought about having nicer scenery 🫣😬🤣👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏼

This weekend marks the end of an era.
It’s Addie’s last weekend of travel softball…and Coach Cory’s last weekend as her Coach Dad.
What started in 2015 with White Blaze, followed by two years with Blue Blaze, and then nine incredible years with Georgia Power Rodgers 08 has been so much more than softball. It has been our summers, our weekends, our vacations, our second family, and countless memories we’ll cherish forever. The crazy part? This journey really started even before Addie ever stepped on the field. We were hauling her around to Grace’s 12U tournaments, where she’d sit in the Georgia heat drinking a gallon of milk while watching her big sister play. None of us could have imagined that softball would become such a huge part of her life for the next decade. Watching Cory and Bryan coach side by side all these years as they started this journey together and somehow managed to become even better friends along the way. I’m so thankful Addie got to grow up being coached by two men who cared so deeply—not just about winning games, but about the girls.
There have been lots of tears this weekend…happy tears, thankful tears, and definitely a few “how did we get here so fast?” tears. I want to thank the other families along the way (especially these last 2 seasons) for being 2nd moms and dads to anyone when needed. However, this is not a good bye to them because they are stuck being our friends now 😬
On to Berry College and the next chapter. 🥎❤️

Gap… where do I even begin. This organization has been everything to me. Every tournament, every practice spent with my dad and I wouldn’t ask for it any different. This team was exactly what I needed in my life and I now have sisters for life. Never stepping on the field with these girls and coaches will be so hard but I enjoyed every single moment of it. As @garrisbryan would say I never thought I’d be here 10 years ago playing for the same coaches in the same organization. #gap4L

We finally got to celebrate Addie Lou graduating with a special trip to Turks & Caicos! These last 3 months have been the absolute worst of my life. This was the 1st trip that I didn’t get to text my mom when I boarded and when I landed, I didn’t get to hear her tell me to keep myself and my babies out of the ocean because of sharks or to keep a close eye on my babies or keep the babies off the balcony because they could fall. I have heard these same things every trip since my babies were little but to my mom we were all babies who needed to be reminded to stay safe. I miss her so much but I can feel her…. I know she is still with me and nudging Jesus here and there to give me a break. We all love and miss her so much but knowing that we have our own guardian angel watching over us…❤️❤️ Last picture from Jaxin showing me that the house is safe 🫣
