@drinkcreia has finally launched!!

I can't believe it's been a week since Creia's first event. I truly cannot thank all you girls enough for taking the time out of your morning to come support us.

We built Creia in honour of all the cool girls who care about their health but still love to have fun and seeing you all in one room proved exactly why we started. Love you guys so much.

Huge thank you to @graceindiagordon for being the best Pilates instructor ever and taking our morning to the next level.

This is one of the first things I look for when I watch a Pilates instructor teach.

If I see an instructor with a mat at the front of the room doing the class alongside their clients… that’s a red flag for me.

In fact, it’s one of our exam questions:

“Do you teach from a mat at the front of the class?”

The answer should be a big, loud:

NOOOOOOO!

A real Pilates teacher’s job is not to do the workout. Your job is to teach.

To observe.
To correct.
To motivate.
To modify.
To ensure every client is moving safely and effectively.

How can you see what’s happening in the room if you’re busy doing hundreds, roll-ups, and teasers with everyone else?

Your clients are paying for your expertise, your eyes, and your guidance. That’s what makes an in-person class valuable. That is what I teach on day one to my students!

Otherwise, what’s the difference between attending your class and following an online workout video at home? 🤦‍♀️

Step off the mat.

Walk around the room.

Watch your clients.

That’s where the real teaching happens!

What an incredible week in Marbella!
@yours.spaces @forummarbella

This course was intense, challenging, and packed with learning, but we also had so much fun along the way. Seeing everyone grow in confidence, knowledge, and skill throughout the training was truly rewarding.

We had 12 countries represented, all coming together with the same passion for authentic Pilates.
Different backgrounds, different cultures, one shared goal: learning the method and honouring its legacy. ❤️

What started as a group of students quickly became something much more. We created friendships, connections, and a bond that feels like family. Our Pilates family. 🫶

And this is only the beginning…

Our journey continues through the Pilates Mastermind, where we will keep learning, supporting one another, and growing together as teachers.

Thank you all for your energy, dedication, and trust. I am so proud of every single one of you. ✨

Today is all about ADVANCED exercises! 🔥

But learning advanced Pilates is not just about performing the most challenging movements. It is about understanding how to teach them safely, effectively, and for every body in front of you.

Today my students are learning how to modify advanced exercises, break them down into achievable steps, and use the Pilates fundamentals as the foundation for everything they teach.

Because great teaching is not about creating circus tricks or showing off difficult moves. It is about respecting the Pilates method, understanding the purpose behind every exercise, and knowing when to progress, regress, or add meaningful variations.

The magic happens when you can take a fundamental exercise and create endless possibilities while staying true to the method.

That is what creates confident instructors.

Teaching Pilates one-to-one is one thing. You can focus on one body, one set of needs, one client at a time.. like we used to do.

Teaching a group Reformer class is a completely different skill.

The challenge is learning how to keep everyone moving safely and effectively while still teaching the Pilates method as it was intended.
Not turning the class into a performance, not creating a circus act 🙄 and definitely not trying to become Cirque du Soleil! Who I like and going to see tomorrow 💃😅

A great group class should still have purpose, progression, precision and control.
Every exercise should have a reason. Every transition should make sense.

This is exactly what I am teaching my students during their Intermediate Reformer training: how to manage a group, keep the flow, and stay true to the Pilates method.

Because good Pilates is not about doing more tricks. It’s about teaching better 🫶
