What a truly pleasurable and enriching experience it was to attend the 2026 International Women’s Day Celebration alongside Commonwealth Day at the British High Commission.

From the powerful speeches delivered by phenomenal women to the inspiring exhibition honouring female leaders whose courage and vision have paved the way for future generations, every moment was a reminder of the strength and resilience that drive progress. 💜🌍

One of my key takeaways came from Dr. Kemi DaSilva’s @kdsibru keynote address, where she emphasized the importance of mentorship, leadership, and ambition, as cornerstones of success for women. Her words resonated deeply, reminding us that empowerment is not just about breaking barriers but also about lifting others as we rise. 🌿👩‍💼

I am grateful to have witnessed such a celebration of unity, diversity, and empowerment. Thank you, @ukinnigeria, for the invitation and for creating a space where voices of women and girls can shine together. 🌎💫
