A few highlights from frieze masters. A friend managed to get me in on a plus 1.

The three collages by @anna_.esposito._ with @gramma_epsilon I particularly enjoyed the 3d nature of, and she was a new artist to me.
Likewise the photograms and hard edged painting by @williamklein_estate were a nice quiet relief from the more bombastic work around. Whats not to like about a Triceratops head? and I always have time for Mimmo Rotella and always wonder with the ephemeral nature if the materials how ling they will last,

The Gramma_Epsilon Gallery in Athens (@gramma_epsilon) is hosting the first solo show in Greece by Italian artist Maria Jole Serreli (@mariajoleserreli), which explores the relationship between memory, identity, and transformation.

The exhibition is a journey through more than twenty years of artistic exploration, during which the act of sewing becomes a means of connecting the body, matter, and time.

Giovedì 8 ottobre inaugura a Roma, al MLAC – Museo Laboratorio di Arte Contemporanea, un’importante mostra antologica dedicata a Renata Prunas, a cura di Alice Guzzetti.

Per Gramma_Epsilon è motivo di grande soddisfazione collaborare alla realizzazione di questa mostra. Sostenere il lavoro di studio, riscoperta e valorizzazione istituzionale di artiste come Renata Prunas è parte essenziale della missione che portiamo avanti fin dalla nascita della galleria: riportare l’attenzione su ricerche sviluppatesi soprattutto tra gli anni Sessanta e Ottanta, ancora non pienamente storicizzate, e rimetterle in dialogo con il presente.

È un lavoro che richiede tempo, ricerca e collaborazione, e vedere queste esperienze trovare oggi nuovi spazi di lettura all’interno delle istituzioni è per noi uno dei risultati più importanti del percorso intrapreso.

Mirella Bentivoglio stands as a towering figure, theorist, and curator within the international Concrete and Visual Poetry movements. Raised in a multilingual environment, her practice emerged from a radical necessity to liberate poetry from the traditional printed page, merging language, imagery, and structural matter into symbolic metaphors. Celebrated globally, her historic path includes her landmark curatorial direction of "Materializzazione del linguaggio" at the 1978 Venice Biennale, alongside landmark exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou, MoMA, and documenta in Kassel. Awarded the prestigious Silver Plate of the President of the Italian Republic in 2002, and honored with retrospectives at the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Rome, her legacy is permanently secured within leading global institutions, from the Getty Institute to the Uffizi.
This extraordinary 1980 sculpture captures the very essence of her mature "object-poetry", standing as a vital evolution of her seminally conceptual "Poema totale" cycle initiated in the mid-1970s. Executed in a rigorous combination of onyx and marble, the work acts as an absolute semantic container, redefining the structural geometry of the book and the ancient, universal symbology of the egg—central, recurring motifs in Bentivoglio's iconography. By solidifying the transient nature of text into the timeless weight of stone, the artist achieves a totalizing linguistic intervention. The text is no longer just read; it is built, experienced, and spatialized. Stripping the word of its patriarchal and standard dialogical constraints, "Poema totale" stands as an unyielding institutional monument to an artist who definitively transformed the boundary between language and physical matter.
