🔥 Who else has missed CORONER as much as I have? Let me know in the comments and tell me if you already have the new album on your radar! 🔥
CORONER 2.0 – dark, technical, brutally focused. The guys have been plowing through all the major festivals for years, but now they’re finally back with some real stuff: Dissonance Theory. This album is not a nostalgia trip, but a modern, ice-cold, precise CORONER album full of riff walls, groove, control, and that typical fucked-up, mechanical energy.
Ron Royce still sounds like he’s roaring at concrete, Vetterli builds guitars like industrial plants, and Diego drums like a Swiss watch on speed. Every track is spot on, no filler, no ego games – just pure, intelligent heaviness.
And yes... I’ll say it now: this album is sure to land in my top 10 of 2025.

Today we’re breaking out of the metal bubble 🤘 – who among you is already familiar with Still Smiling? Let me know in the comments what you think of the combination of Teho Teardo & Blixa Bargeld! 🎧🔥

Today we’re doing something different from blast beats and walls of guitar – Still Smiling by Teho Teardo & Blixa Bargeld is a trip between art, language, and sound. 🎭 Blixa (Einstürzende Neubauten) shows his experimental side here, while Teardo sets the stage with cinematic sounds and strings. The whole thing feels like a dark play – poetic, ironic, profound. It’s not classic metal, but it has the same intensity. 💥 If you’re open to avant-garde, electronic sounds, and emotional storytelling, you should definitely give this a listen.

Check this out and drop your thoughts in the comments — this one’s for all who dig the dark roots of experimental heaviness ⚡

Mick „Human Tornado“ Harris, former drummer of Napalm Death, has created something completely unique with Scorn. Instead of blast beats, there was dark electronica, distorted samples, and heavy dub vibes. Initially working with Nick Bullen and Justin Broadrick (Godflesh), Harris increasingly moved away from metal toward a cold, atmospheric sound. Evanescence was the turning point – industrial meets ambient dub – raw, minimalistic, and totally unique. After Bullen left, Scorn became Harris’s lonely night project: no guitars, no vocals, just deep, ghostly loops from England’s darkest basement. A real turning point for the boundary between metal and electronic music.

👉 Check out the new Full of Hell EP „Broken Sword, Rotten Shield“ – it’s a 15-minute wrecking ball that hits you with everything from grind to doom. The opener blasts off like a train without brakes, blast beats, screams, riffs – all packed into two minutes. Then suddenly there’s a riff straight out of the metal classic universe, only to plunge back into the abyss at full throttle. Tracks like „Corpselight“ or „Mirrorhelm“ show that the guys can also do dark and atmospheric – disturbing, but awesome. In the end, „To Ruin and the World’s Ending“ really brings that end-of-the-world feeling: tough, dark, and brutal. Sure, there are also experimental parts that won’t be to everyone’s taste, but the bottom line is that Full of Hell deliver exactly what their name promises: pure madness in sound form. 🔥
What do you think – successful experiment or too much chaos? Write your thoughts in the comments!

📢 Let’s hear it – are you familiar with Earth’s album „Hex; Or Printing in the Infernal Method“? Write it in the comments!

I’ve been into drone doom for ages – many bands come and go or become irrelevant... but Earth? They’ve been delivering since ‚89, and with „Hex“ they’ve landed somewhere completely different. Slow, dark, with slide guitar and a pinch of country – sounds weird, but hits just right. Album cover? Inspired by „Blood Meridian,“ the title stolen from William Blake. Backstory? Carlson was back on track after a dark period – drugs, jail... and he apparently bought the gun for Kurt Cobain. No joke.

This album isn’t music – it’s a damn mood. Put on your headphones, close your eyes – you’re gone.

🔥Hey Folks , hit the comments – who’s heard the new ...AND OCEANS yet? What do you think of the return to frosty black metal?🔥
On The Regeneration Itinerary, the Finns blast away as mercilessly as if they had simply deleted their last albums. No ambient, no frills—just cold, anthemic, lightning-fast black metal with fat keyboards and a force like it was ‚97. Every song hits like a slap in the face with style. Atmosphere? Check. Epic? Check. And even Dimmu and Emperor have competition here. Anyone who takes black metal seriously in 2025 can’t ignore this thing.

💥 Have you ever put on the Skaven/Dystopia split and immediately gotten goosebumps? If not, it’s time! Check out this absolute 90s crust bomb – dark, broken, and completely at the limit. Skaven from Oakland blast away with double bass and a heavy dose of black metal vibe, as if they were rising from a moldy basement – rotten, desperate, but brilliantly thought out. Dystopia, on the other hand, sounds like the last cry before the end of the world: groovy, heavy, and socially completely fucked up. Both bands sound like they have nothing left to lose – real end-time vibes from California. If you’re into Misery, Deviated Instinct, or early doom metal, you’ll get your money’s worth here. This split isn’t a „nice to have,“ it’s a must-buy. Period. 👉 Have you listened to it yet? Write it in the comments or show me your pressings!

Dystopia / Skaven - Split LP - Dystopia side recorded Spring 1995 at Jim Barnes, Santa Ana, California.

Today is spinning SORE THROAT. Sore Throat - pure riot from England! In 1987, the guys from Huddersfield destroyed everything with their chaotic mix of grindcore, crust and noisecore. Founded by Richard „Militia“ Walker and Nick Royles, they brought two ex-Doom members on board: John „Doom“ Pickering on bass and Brian Talbot on guitar. No desire for commerce - instead, the h…core scene was mercilessly pulled through the hoops. Their four albums, including Unhindered by Talent (1988) and Disgrace to the Corpse of Sid (1989), are raw noise in its purest form. They called it a day in 1990, but the members continued in other bands. Today, their works are absolute cult pieces - and are bootlegged without end.

Do you know Sore Throat? Do you have a record of theirs? Show it in your story and tag me!

Bush ‘Sixteen Stone’ (1994)
@roundhillrecords @bush @gavinrossdale @bushfanskingdom

Revisiting an old 90’s favorite for this Saturday! Back in the nineties, living in a rural area, we didn’t have cable. But we did have directv, known then as Primestar. Early 1995 we finally got MTV added to the line up and one of the very first videos that came on when I tuned in was “Comedown “ and I was hooked! It is still my favorite Bush song to this day, although this entire album is a banger. Have a great Saturday!🤟🏻

So it’s safe to say I’m not the biggest NIN fan. Apart from Pretty Hate Machine (which I like!) I didn’t own any of their other albums. But over the years I’ve been told by many of you how great this album is and even very recently that it’s a must have in any collection, by both someone I sorta never expected @lbshel and a self proclaimed NIN fan girl @graphiclust13 🤣. So when I came across the album yesterday I decided to finally pull the trigger. Now let’s see… 🤞🏻😅
