Tonight was one of those very special nights!!

Getting to watch our pupil perform in our all-time favourite musical was an absolute privilege❤️

Could not be prouder of our girl Lucy Watt, who gave a phenomenal performance as Éponine in Les Misérables SE. We remember the first time she ever sang ‘On my Own’, we both jumped to our feet and said she would make the PERFECT Éponine!! And Lucy, tonight you really were!!!!🥹 Couldn’t be prouder of you!!!!🌟

Bravo to the talented cast and superb orchestra on an incredible performance!

Huge congratulations also to James @huishboeacademy and all the production team on a fantastic production! Loved every minute!!🇫🇷👏🏼

On Monday night, we held our Annual AGM & BBQ to mark another incredibly successful year for BOC!🎭

From our Andrew Lloyd Webber Concert at the @waterfront_ulster_hall , to our Annual Christmas Concert at the Ulster Hall, performing as part of the @royalvarietyperformance at the @royalalberthall , our production of Guys & Dolls at the @gohbelfast , and everything in between, it has been another momentous year for our company.

We also paid tribute to some of our BOC stalwarts.

Our amazing Chairperson, Jordan Rainey, who after seven years on Committee, including the last two as Chair, has helped shape BOC into the company it is today. Her passion, dedication, kindness and genuine love for BOC have helped the company thrive through many milestones🩷

Alongside Vice-Chair Kevin McIlhennon, whose guidance and commitment have been invaluable, they now proudly hand over the baton to our newly elected Chairperson and Vice-Chair, Shirley Adair and Megan Hamilton👏🏼

We also celebrated our incredible Treasurer, Liz Boyd, who is stepping down after fourteen years in the role. We are forever indebted to Liz and her husband Colin, our former Chair, for their invaluable contribution to BOC and the lasting legacy they leave behind.

Finally, congratulations to Marion Taylor Award recipient Maree Robinson, whose unwavering dedication to BOC, from costumes and props to sets and refreshments, makes her a deserving winner🏆

And as if there wasn't enough to celebrate, we also marked a very special birthday- our very own Secretary, Gary Redpath!🥳 (whom we know wouldn't want to spend it anywhere other than Heron Road!!😜)

Thank you to everyone who joined us, to all who brought delicious treats, and to Jonny McRoberts for overseeing the BBQ!

Here's to another exciting year ahead for BOC!💙

It’s time to meet the team bringing Come From Away to life on the Grand Opera House stage!

Following the success of last seasons ‘The Sound of Music’ in St. Anne’s Cathedral, we’re welcoming back Gary Redpath to bring this remarkable true story to life as Director. He is joined by our resident Musical Director, Colin Scott, and the team is completed by Sean O’Neill who brings a wealth of choreography and theatre experience to the role of Choreographer.

Tickets are on sale now at www.goh.co.uk but you’ll want to book quick because they are already selling like hot cakes. With unforgettable music, captivating storytelling and a powerful message that resonates long after the curtain falls, Come From Away is the theatrical experience you won’t want to miss.

Delighted to have been nominated for an Outstanding Actress award by NODA for @belfastoperatic’s production of The Sound of Music at St Anne’s Cathedral last summer. Maria was a dream come true!

A huge congratulations to all my lovely cast mates, production team and especially my wonderfully talented Von Trapp children, for their nomination for Best Overall Show!
