#repost Thank you @green.goddesses for truly living up to your name and choosing Saukhyam pads to go green and also ofcourse for this wonderful post!
.
‘The average menstruating woman uses between 5000-15000 pads and tampons in her lifetime. Take a moment to think about exactly how much plastic is being generated globally every single month. Because menstrual waste is classified as medical waste it hasn't even been tracked as seriously as it needs to. In terms of research on exactly how serious the menstrual waste problem is, we as a society have only been able to touch the tip of the iceberg.

There are a number of more sustainable solutions that are now begining to reach the market. This unique idea by @saukhyam_pads really caught our eye because of how economical and sustainable it is! It not only uses a biodegradable material for the pad design, but goes as far as using banana fibers that have been discarded.

Thank you @qui_vivra.verra for the amazing designs and edits. What would we do with out you?’
