Some cute moments from Seeing the Unseen #2

On July 13th, we celebrated the second edition of Seeing the Unseen with a new group of mega-talented artists and friends ✨

This year’s collective theme was the Symbiocene. Coined by environmental philosopher Glenn Albrecht, the Symbiocene refers to a new era characterized by harmonious interactions between humans and all other living beings. For this chapter of Seeing the Unseen, we invited each artist to reflect on our connection with the natural world and how to cultivate this connection in our daily lives. 🌀

We are super excited about this second season, all the inspiring artwork, and seeing our community grow 🌱

Today artist is @greenisch.tint 🍀

Anella Schabler is a multidisciplinary artist based in Canada who explores little details and intimate moments. They explore the delicate parts of everyday life- identity, culture, and sensitivity in their work. Through a multitude of mediums, most notably in painting, sculpture, and textiles, they immerse themself in reflection through documentation accompanied by the experience of living rooted in memory and sentimentality. Schabler creates work that allows the viewer to sit, stay, and converse with themselves.

They are currently pursuing their bachelor’s degree of Visual Studies and Art History at the University of Toronto, they intend to pursue fine art as their career and lifelong passion. Their work has been featured across various platforms including the 2024 DesignTO Youth: Touchbase exhibition, the Shelley Peterson 2024 exhibition, and SCAFFOLD* Magazine.
