What a weekend! Feed Real Summit brought together so many passionate voices raising the bar in pet nutrition. We loved connecting with everyone who stopped by our booth to talk sourcing, transparency, and real food for pets.

I’m so busy soaking up knowledge and learning from the best industry leaders in the holistic pet care space that taking photos is always last on my mind. This week marks ONE YEAR since @potato was given the awful diagnosis of a malignant heart based tumor that was inoperable. The tumor was so big and causing issues with the other organs the belief was he wouldn’t have a quality of life if we did try to fight the cancer. It was meant to be his last week.

But here we are. And so many reasons why and so many people to thank and I will write more extensively about it and lay out what we did. But most of it has to do with his spirit.

He’s now 11 years old and 4 months old and in remission and as happy as he’s ever been. Maybe that’s the cannabis and the mushrooms and the diet and the acupuncture and the infrared therapy. But maybe just because he’s a joyful being.

So so many people to thank. @werbs_dvm @vegerforpets @westlavca @justintheroux @dr.heather.o @greennileinc @adoredbeastapothecary @rightratioforpets and of course @sabrinawaterman and all my friends who helped me through all of this.

Dogs are the best. 🐾

What if your pet’s symptoms aren’t problems, but rather messengers? 🐾💜

When our pets struggle with chronic itching, recurring ear infections or chronic diarrhea it’s easy to fall into a cycle of treating the symptoms.

A quick vet visit, a repeat prescription, a new medication, a little relief…

…until it comes back again 🤦‍♀️

But here’s the truth I’ve seen over and over: every pet has a “weakest link”—an area where imbalance shows up first.

And when we shift our focus from suppressing those symptoms to supporting the root imbalance underneath, that’s when true healing begins 🌱✨

This is the heart of integrative medicine—we look beyond the surface and ask questions like…

There’s actually so much we can do to help reduce the risk of our pets getting cancer ✨

A few simple ways to start are…

🥕🍖 Getting your pet on a fresh food diet (freeze dried raw with a fresh topper counts. too).

🐕 Make sure your pet get’s regular exercise.

🌾 Do regular glyphosate tests with an integrative vet and detox when necessary. Never use this chemical on your lawn.

🌷 Go natural and chemical free with your pet products and house cleaning products.
