Look closely at this graphic and you’ll see groups that rarely share a poster, let alone a campaign. That is the power of ranked choice voting. 🤝 The coalition backing Measure D spans the political spectrum, bringing together unions, grassroots groups, NGOs, and local leaders from every corner of Irvine. We hold diverse views and represent many different perspectives across our city, but we all agree on one core principle: Irvine voters deserve better choices, cleaner campaigns, and leaders backed by a true majority. When a reform brings the whole community to the same table, you know it works for everyone. 🗳️ Vote Early: Ballots are in hand! Remember: find us at the very very very very bottom of your ballot. Yes on Measure D! 👉 Want to help get us across the finish line? Tap the link in our bio to grab a quick volunteer shift!

URGENT REMINDER Please sign Jill’s petition! Demand they drop the charges before Jill’s court date on Oct 29! Sign Jill’s Petition. https://jillstein.net/petition/ A message from Dr. Jill Stein: “As a consequence of our relentless opposition to genocide, in particular, standing with students peacefully opposing genocide at Washington University in St. Louis in April 2024, I am now fighting false criminal charges of assaulting a police officer and trespassing. Of 100 protestors arrested, I alone am now facing trial and up to 18 months in prison if convicted. My next court appearance is Oct. 29. Please sign the petition at jillstein.net telling the University and the prosecution to drop the charges. You’ll be joining Ali Abunimah, Chris Hedges, Medea Benjamin, Glenn Greenwald, Jeffrey Sachs, Abby Martin, Craig Mokiber, Max Blumenthal, Butch Ware, Miko Peled and many more in calling for an end to this outrageous prosecution. Feel free to spread the word if the spirit moves you, by forwarding this email to friends and networks opposing genocide abroad and defending democracy at home.... Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Let’s beat back genocide, empire and the growing assault on our most basic freedoms. Together we’re unstoppable! Jill”

When we say #RunGreen we do't just mean for political office! Yes, Greens do run in EVERY election cycle and we hold elected office in many states... But we also RUN to serve our communities in many other ways, we serve in commissions, non-profits, mutual aid groups, schools, libraries, and more. Greens COME from activism into the #GreenParty and that means we know what our communities need and we know all that we are being denied. That makes Greens great candidates to serve YOU!

A few months ago, I attended and spoke at a city council meeting in Garden Grove to demand accountability and justice to GKN an aerospace company whose negligence and greed displaced over 50,000 people as they are actively complicit in the genocide in Gaza being waged by the Zionists. This fight is still ongoing. There has been no clear effort for accountability, reparations to the families and individuals displaced, or preventing future incidents like this. The city council of Garden Grove must be replaced. Please join the GKN Out campaign (@gknoutofgg) to make it known that threats to our community and complicity in genocide is NOT acceptable and should NOT be tolerated. Join us with the Green Party of Orange County as we organize to bring an independent alternative to our current political system. Together we CAN bring justice and build a system that works for everyone in harmony with the planet and our ecosystems. ✊⚖️🌎 #gardengrove #gknout #freepalesti̇ne #publicservice #greenparty

#HappyIndigenousPeoplesDay Today, on Oct. 12, we celebrate the 574 Federally Recognized tribal entities, 60 more tribes recognized by individual state governments, AND the hundreds of other Tribes and Tribal bands that remain "Unrecognized" by state or federal governments as they actively seek recognition in the U.S. We acknowledge the brutal history that many generations of indigenous people have suffered at the hands of settlers and occupying governments. We honor the Indigenous traditional cultural and spiritual practices that have protected and nurtured the their ancestral lands we walk on. Today between 7-10 million indigenous people live in the U.S. with the largest population being in California. To learn about the people who have lived and may continue to live where we walk today check out this interactive map by Native Land Digital https://native-land.ca/ #LandBack ---------------
