🌳 Looking for an easy, scenic walk in Greensboro? Add Hamilton Lakes Park to your list!

Tucked inside the Hamilton Lakes neighborhood, this 60-acre park has about 2 miles of shady, unpaved trails that follow a stream through the woods to the lake. It’s one of our favorite trails that isn’t part of a big city park 🍂

What you’ll find:
🥾 A wooded loop under big, old trees
🦆 Lake views and great bird watching
🐕 Leashed pups welcome

Good to know: parking is a small gravel lot and there are no restrooms, so plan ahead. The park is cared for by neighbors through Hamilton Lakes and Parks, Inc., so leave it as you found it 💚

Right across the street is Lake Euphemia, a private park just for Hamilton Lakes residents. 🌿

📍 4302 Starmount Dr, Greensboro

You don’t realize how much your environment affects you until you change it.

Sometimes moving isn’t just about finding a different house. It’s about finding a place that changes the way your everyday life feels.

Maybe it’s having a little more space.
Maybe it’s being closer to parks and trails.
Maybe it’s discovering local restaurants you actually want to become a regular at.
Maybe it’s having a neighborhood where people know each other.
Maybe it’s being close enough to the city for convenience, but still having that slower pace when you come home.

That’s one of the things I love about Greensboro, NC. There are so many different neighborhoods and communities here, and each one can give you a completely different lifestyle.

If you’re thinking about moving to Greensboro, relocating to Greensboro, or trying to figure out where to live in Greensboro, the house is only part of the decision. The neighborhood—and the life you’ll build around it—matters just as much.

There’s just something about a walk through Fisher Park. 🌳🏡

Tree-lined streets, beautiful historic homes, sidewalks that make you want to slow down, and architecture that gives the neighborhood so much character.

Fisher Park is one of Greensboro’s most recognizable historic neighborhoods, and its historic character isn’t accidental. The neighborhood is subject to historic preservation ordinances, which help protect the architectural and historic features that make Fisher Park so distinctive.

That means when you’re walking through the neighborhood, you’re not just seeing beautiful homes — you’re seeing a piece of Greensboro’s history that has been intentionally preserved. ❤️

And honestly… this is what makes neighborhood walks in Greensboro pretty special.
