A very warm welcome to Greg, joining The Noteworthy Approach.

At 6’3”, Greg certainly has presence — but what makes him particularly exciting is the range behind it.

With experience across film, television, live performance and voiceover, he can move from imposing Viking or biker to larger-than-life ringmaster, rockstar energy or the warm, funny neighbour next door with remarkable ease.

There’s a real gentleness underneath that physical presence too, together with a huge enthusiasm for life, travel and new experiences — qualities that bring warmth and individuality to his work.

I’m genuinely excited to explore the breadth of casting possibilities with Greg and to see where this next chapter takes us.

Welcome to The Approach, Greg. I have a feeling this one is going to be a lot of fun.

Daleks Invaded My Local Town Centre & I Met An Awesome Actor!

Over the weekend there was a convention event at @thebeaconeastbourne which I thought I would go and check out. Being the first of its kind I didn’t know what to expect, but I thought it would be a bit better.

There wasn’t very much to do, there were a handful of vendors, quite a few of which sold virtually the same things, most being TCGs like Pokemon, MTG, Lorcana etc.

There were some artists hidden away that I’m sure many people walked right past. Some comic artists which had some cool artwork to be fair. The event was poorly advertised only being announced on The Beacon’s Facebook page 4 days before, and any posters I saw in the town centre were small A4 sheets. If they are to put another event on in the future, advertisement, layout and amount of activities and things to see and do could all vastly be improved.

Something that is pretty cool is I bumped into @gregdraven an Eastbourne local who is an actor who has worked with Zack Snyder on Justice League, doubled as Hagrid (also appearing as DADDY HAGRID in a @sidemen video) but also, which I recognised him for, he was the sound engineer who takes you through the tutorial in Guitar Hero Live! Among other roles as well of course.

Greg kindly gave me lots of his time and I got to hear all sorts about his acting career, working with other actors and directors, and some damn cool stories. And of course got to get a photo together. I’ve also attached a screenshot from Guitar Hero Live of Greg in action.

I have been a little quiet and absent from work and social media recently.

Sometimes life brings moments that make everything else stand still.

A very close friend of mine has suffered the unimaginable loss of her beautiful 17-year-old son, Oakley, following a tragic accident.

During this heartbreaking time, my thoughts, heart and support have been with Lu and her family. Work and social media have naturally had to take a step aside.

Seeing the overwhelming number of people who came together for Oakley’s ride-out was incredibly moving and truly beautiful. The love, support and respect shown by everyone was something I will never forget.

To see so many people turn out for Oakley demonstrated just how loved he was, how many lives he touched and how deeply his loss is being felt by so many.

I will slowly begin returning to work and sharing on social media again, but I hope you will understand why I have been a little quieter than usual.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. 🤍

One beautiful morning in May we were here on the land close to heart, celebrating dear friends in their handfasting ceremony. Surrounded by loved ones, the trees and the sounds of drums it was something incredibly special and witnessing their blessing gave me huge hope in my own heart.

Sarah and Adam, with your inspiring love and connection may it be so that you always have one another to hold. Thank you for your trust with this and for years of friendship beyond. A very special celebration. 🌿

It happened guys… I met the big man himself 🎅🏼 I’m not talking about some guy dressed in a Santa suit pretending to be Santa.. I’m talking about the REAL Santa!! He arranged a visit with mum to meet ME in person because he’s seen how extra good I’ve been this year looking after mum in hospital! He told me I’m right up there on the top of the nice list!! He even gave me a special certificate to prove it!! He looked like Santa, he smelt like Santa.. there is no doubt he is SANTA 🎅🏼 I even made sure his beard was real!! No tricking me… but it’s true.. he’s absolutely 100% Santa!!
The reindeer stayed back in the North Pole.. they’re fuelling up ready to take flight tomorrow so I pretended to be one of Santas reindeers for a photo 🤭 wouldn’t I be a great reindeer!?😆
I am exhausted after meeting Santa! I can’t believe he wanted to meet ME in person despite his busy schedule to tell me I’m a good boy! He said I’m going to get lots of presents this year 👏🏼 I can’t wait!! Not long now 😁
Ps. I put in a good word for you all frens..so hopefully you’ve made it onto the nice list too! 😁

Santa has a pretend name for the rest of the year.. his account is @gregdraven 🤫 maybe give him a follow!

A big thank you to everyone who came out to see our big switch on last weekend and helped make the night so special.

I also want to say a big thank you to all the people who helped set up and get everything running this year.

We hope you all enjoy this years display as much as we do and thank you all again for such a great start to the month.
