A look back at this cool project shot in Studio A! 🎥 The @colossuscreativeco team used a 48-camera "bullet time" rig to capture a Matrix-like, frozen-in-time effect for @litera.ai Always fun seeing what creative teams make happen here! 📸: Noah Seward (@noah.dangs)

You might recognize this one. @toyota’s Big Big Deal Summer Sale commercial was shot right here in Studio A! The teams at TCAA and @swevenfx used Studio A's LED wall to create a summer festival environment without having to leave the studio. It’s a good example of what virtual production can do: create an entirely different environment, keep everything in one place, and get the shots you need in a fraction of the time! 📸: Noah Seward (@noah.dangs)

@thegristboston recently brought their latest project for @thehartford featuring Matt McCoy to Studio Lab! Their team took over Studio A, using our LED wall and KIRA cinema robot to bring the project to life. @gregfarnum and the @swevenfx team provided production support, while our Studio Engineer, @blakepropst, built the virtual environments in @unrealengine, creating realistic environments for a variety of interior and exterior locations. Thanks to @thegristboston and @thehartford for bringing this project to Studio Lab, and to Greg, the SWEVEN team, and our crew for helping make it happen. 📸: Noah Seward (@noah.dangs)

Rain sounds simple enough. Until you need to control exactly where, when, and how much of it shows up on camera. For @footjoy’s Arcus launch, Greg from @swevenfx built a custom rain rig in Studio A to create the controlled environment this shoot required. Just another example of the creative challenges our team loves to tackle. 📸: Michelle Rublee (@michelle.a.rublee) 📹: Noah Seward (@noah.dangs), Michelle Rublee (@michelle.a.rublee) 🎞️: Noah Seward (@noah.dangs)

What if you could bring the outdoors inside?   That’s exactly what Greg from @swevenfx did for @footjoy’s Arcus product launch, bringing the rain into Studio A with a custom rain simulator to show their new rainwear doing what it was built to do.   The shoot brought together several of Studio A’s capabilities to create the perfect environment for the project. The LED wall added graphics and elements to build out the look, while the @motorizedprecision Kira cinema robot and camera captured high-speed content.   At Studio Lab, our goal is to give you complete creative control over the environment you’re shooting in, including the weather. Shoutout to @footjoy for bringing this unique project to the studio!   📸: Michelle Rublee (@michelle.a.rublee)

What a night!   Thank you to everyone who joined us for Industry Night last night! This one was a little different from our usual hangout, and it was so much fun to celebrate the incredible creative work coming out of our community.   Our good friend @rlivie screened the first 10 minutes of his show, Resonance, much of which was filmed right here at Studio Lab with members of our team and creatives from across New Hampshire and beyond. Following the screening, members of the cast and crew joined us for a panel discussion to share more about the project and what went into bringing it to life.   We also got to screen the trailer for @tonymovie, an @a24 film produced by our good friend Chris Stinson of @livefreeordiefilms.   It was pretty special to spend the night watching work created by so many talented people in our community. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to show up, share their work, and make Industry Night what it is!   📸: Noah Seward (@noah.dangs), Michelle Rublee (@michelle.a.rublee)

Want to see something cool? Check out this "making of" video for an amazing project for Colossus Creative and Litera, shot @studiolabnh (see link in bio) The creative iconoclasts @colossuscreativeco tasked @gregfarnum and @ianmessina.qbit to pull off classic "Bullet Time" scenes for 3 visually dynamic spots. So, Greg, Ian and Christian from @xanglestudio did just that, using a time tested still camera array and cutting edge gaussian splat environments. Old school in-camera capture, merged with cutting edge visualizing tech. Exciting stuff!

The multi-camera capture effect has become one of the most recognizable techniques in filmmaking, and the technology behind it continues to evolve.   For this shoot with @colossuscreativeco, Studio A became home to a 40 camera bullet time rig powered by Xangle’s real-time processing software, allowing the crew to review shots instantly and keep the creative process moving.   Head to our Youtube channel to get the full BTS from this project!   📹: Noah Seward (@noah.dangs), Pat Dunn, Caleb Jackson
