Not sure what this tune is but I’m sure @veryspooked will know. Good times picking in the park.

@the_beautiful_ones_toronto photo dump for your (and my future self’s) viewing pleasure. Such a lovely day over the Gardiner. Very grateful to @mojojojojoey for creating this and inviting us to add a couple triangles to the banner. Loved getting a chance to meet and chat with the other artists in this “spectacle.” Thank you. 💕

Greg Moverley

I am a folk musician, artist and writer. My work has been rejected by many of the finest magazines still in print and my songs can be heard by passersby when my kitchen window is open.

Self-taught, I’m continually learning to develop my skills further not so much for a career but just for life.

Old-Time Jamboree: “Cripple Creek” under the trees in Gage Park. Alec Mahoney on that killer banjo, Peter Codsi on harmonica, Heather Saunders on Merlin Dulcimer and me on guitar.

Woodshedding “Darby’s Ram”, a traditional song going back to the era that “Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme” came from.

“Hello Stranger” - this traditional folk song was popularized by The Carter Family in the 1930’s and it’s been covered countless times since. We’re heavily influenced by the version from Hazel & Alice.

I wish I were a better wordsmith…

Over a year of my life and I have to admit, I’m proud of all of us….

And excited to do it again…this fall.

I can only tag 20 people, so thanks again to @bonging.science @peotreks_workshop @julian_pace_bonello @shananagins01 @heatherannsaunders and everyone else who helped out. 🙏🙏🙏
