Red Dot tober was fun but humbling at the same time. Time + rules hurt bad when you mess up and boy did I mess up. Too much tension trying to run it fast so need to figure out some grip pressures and relax more. Btw a friend of mine would like to take a class on how to reload his f=€king gun 😅 so dm me for his info….

I didn’t think anything could be as humbling as training and showing western performance horses… and then the competitive shooting world said, “buckle up, Buttercup.”

Learning to become a better shooter while simultaneously teaching my body to be more athletic has been one of the hardest challenges I’ve taken on. It’s pushed me mentally and physically in ways I didn’t expect—and I know I’m still nowhere close to where I want to be. But it’s a start.

I’m proud of the effort I’ve put in so far, and I’m exactly where I should be for my current skill and ability. No shortcuts, no pretending I’m further along than I am. Just putting in the work, learning, getting humbled, and coming back for more.

Now I know what I need to work on, and I’m hungry to chase down that next rank.

To everyone who has coached me and those who have reached out with tips, atta girls, listened to my doubts, and provided support and encouragement, THANK YOU!

MGR 9/18. Well my open gun has taken a dump, tumbling rounds at 7+yards. Busted out the PCC for PM session. Haven’t shot it since Area 1, and it was a little rough. Raw time champ on this one though! Check out Manzano Gun Runners, quick matches and great staff! #uspsa #uspsapcc

Another stage from the last @pcs_league match at @richmondaction. Was able to get a stage win on this by 30% which is pretty sweet. Was so fast I impressed the RO and the camera man 😂😂.

God I love time plus 😂. First stage of the match and I was lost in the sauce. I had a plan but somehow just forgot everything at the beep. Still managed to be raw time champ and well as getting an OA stage win. This stage was a rifle/pistol only so it was a real stage win.

And this is not a PCC!

Next batch of @manzanogunrunners dates are here.

Plus our once a quarter all classifier match that will be dropped in this next batch. Q4’s All Classifier will be on a Friday.

We also have an NROI Range Officer safety class December 5th and 6th. For that class you need to already be classed and have a decent understanding of USPSA rules so you can help guide your squad.

We have additional props on the way from @targets_usa. Excited to throw that spice into future stages.

Great 2-Gun/3-Gun @pcs_league match today at @richmondaction. Since I was only shooting 2-Gun today I got 1st OA but that means I got first 2-gun which is cool. Got to hang out with a sweet squad.

Here’s a quick video of when things went wrong lol. Been awhile since I had a Swear Jar video up so enjoy 😉.

🔫 Badass double-match day with Manzano Gun Runners this week! 🔥

First time shooting with this club, and I can already say it’ll be the first of many. What an awesome experience—12 stages (and jungle run! 🌴), outstanding facilities, great match management, and FOOD. 🤩

The AM match wasn’t my best performance, with several FTSAs, but I made up for it in the PM match and engaged every target.

I’m starting to move a little quicker, but still feeling stuck and frustrated knowing I’m a long way from where I want to be. And honestly? That just makes me want to grind harder.

I learned a ton, had an amazing squad, and left with even more determination to push myself before the next match.

Take a look as Kyle runs through some updates for @manzanogunrunners for both the remainder of 2026 as well as info for our 2027 matches.

Also, as of yesterday, we've officially hit our 1000th competitor since the start of MGR back in May of this year! A huge thank you to everyone who's made it out to a match and helped build Manzano Gun Runners into what it is in such a short amount of time. While we still have plenty of matches slated for the rest of the year, we can't wait to bring you even more in 2027, stay tuned.
