The MAGGIORI MOMENT and FALL ARTS FESTIVAL 2026. What a fun week bopping around town that was buzzing with excitement for @markmaggiori ā€˜s first solo show in three years that produced record breaking results! ($9 million!! šŸ¤Æ). Cowboy is King šŸ¤ šŸ‘‘ right now and Mark Maggiori certainly has met the moment and pushed the boundaries of contemporary Western art and commerce to new frontiers. I love seeing our town come alive and all the talented artists and galleries and institutions humming with enthusiasm and passion and excitement for the arts. One of the best weeks of year to be in Jackson Hole by far and a reminder of why our community is no. 1 on the Arts Vibrancy Index in America. šŸ‚šŸŽØ . . . #markmaggiori #jhfallartsfestival #jacksonhole

@jimmychin says there are two great risks in life. Risking too much, and risking too little. My dad died in 2009, when I was 15. One of the last things he asked me was what I wanted to do with my life. Then he told me that if I didnā€™t want the world to decide for me, I had to chase it with everything I had. For years after, I was looking for that thing. Then in college I saw Meru. Iā€™d never seen anything like it. I walked out knowing exactly what I wanted to do. Tell adventure stories, like Jimmy. So I went and did it. Started filming and climbing. Became a mountain guide. Worked with incredible mentors and got a few expeditions under my belt. In 2020 I heard a whisper that this project on Everest was happening with @hilareenelson and @jimwmorrison . I felt a calling. I had to be a part of this. No plan, no offer, no idea how it would work. I asked my brand new girlfriend, @swimstagramz, to bet on it with me. She talked her way into becoming the first remote employee in BlackRockā€™s history and moved with me to Victor, Idaho, into a one bedroom A-frame, just so I could be in the same town as the crew. She took the bigger risk of the two of us. Sheā€™s my wife now, and I owe her everything. Everest: The Other Side just premiered on the festival circuit and hits theaters October 30. Looking back, this whole stretch is the clearest example I have of those two risks. I canā€™t wait for you to see it. These photos are from the after party at Oprahā€™s house. The highlight of the whole trip was handing her a book. After Hurricane Katrina, Oprah donated a large amount of money to Architecture for Humanity to build homes in Biloxi, Mississippi. My dad was the engineer on that project. He gave his time for free, and my family got to be a part of it. The book is called Rebuilding After Disaster, and itā€™s dedicated to him. Giving her a copy of something she paid for, with my dadā€™s work inside it, was one of the most surreal moments of my life. Talk about full circle.

Hereā€™s the story of our Brackett Creek JacShirt in 90 seconds. From bison to boutique! We professionally shear the fiber. We sort and grade the fiber. Commercial scouring in the US is set up for wool so we scoured this batch at home and it turned out really good! We drove the fiber to American Woolen and dehaired it on their machine that sat for dormant for decades. We trialed it and now weā€™re buying it and bringing this piece of American heritage history back home to Montana to give it a new life!!!! Picked up the new prototype of the Brackett Creek JacShirt and field tested it on the ride home!!! Rain. Cold. Road sludge. Everything! And the shirt shined. The worse the conditions were the better the shirt performed!!!!! We will be opening up orders for the next batch of Brackett creek shirts soon. Volume 17 is here, and weā€™re taking it to the Tetons. To celebrate, weā€™re hosting a party in Jackson, Wyoming with our friends Zeb and Kate of @gritgeneral. MH Founder @tylersharpphoto will host a short talk and Q&A with artist @markmaggiori about their four-month collaboration, and weā€™ll have limited signed copies available with the purchase of a subscription. Weā€™ll also have limited-edition posters featuring one of Markā€™s sketches, drinks from @wildcommonspirits and a raffle at the end of the evening for some prizes, including a few tickets to Markā€™s sold out show on Friday September 18th. I got to @american_woolen and we fired up their 25 year dormant dehairer. Itā€™s a beautiful machine and this is our next step. Solving the dehairing problem in North America. Itā€™s been a 10 year quest and here we are. Stoked!!!!
