TGC Men’s Intensive 001 | Fellowship among men is strongest when a common goal is shared amongst a group.

We see this often at hunting camp, on the golf course, in football stadiums, and such.

The goal for this event was to challenge and strengthen men physically, mentally, and spiritually — something most men don’t venture into.

Why? Because it’s vulnerable. From 5:30AM to 8PM, 17 men gathered to tackle a 6-session video series @wildatheart followed by self reflection, solitude, and group discussion. Men were encouraged and hearts were restored to say the least.

This retreat was opened up to our local Bible studies first and it was capped out right away. Looking ahead, we aim to make this available to the public and plan to invite anyone able and willing. We highly recommend all of the Wild at Heart resources if you’re looking to do something similar in your area.

Thanks be to God for all he is doing and ways he is moving.

The world went quiet.

No thunder. No victory cry.
Just a cold stone… and a sealed grave.

Hope looked buried.
Light looked extinguished.
And hell thought it had won.

This is Good Friday.
Not soft. Not safe. Not pretty.

It’s blood, nails, and silence.
It’s the weight of sin… carried by one man who's love was stronger than the pain.

The grave is silent today.
But silence doesn’t mean defeat.

It means something is coming!

When the Lord blesses the southeast with 22F temps and 8in of snow, it's wise to take the rare opportinity to T&E.

Takeaways:
1- Finger dexterity is thrown out the window.

2- You have to make up your time on the gun! Learn to be aggressive. Quick feet isn't an option.

3- Learn to retain your mags. They will disappear quickly in the powder.

4- Lens covers are nice (even on dots) when the rifle isn't in immediate use.

5- Over ear protection provides some warmth.

6- Your clothe layering system matters!

Today I got to shoot my 2nd rifle match of the year. I had so many more planned, but the Army got in the way, matches were canceled, my grandpa's funeral landed on a match weekend. Sometimes things don't go how you want them to.

Today, i showed up, learned some awesome lessons, made sure to journal after stages, got to squad with the homie @grizzle31 and shoot a rifle I've been putting a lot of care into for about 3 years now.

Its interesting that this inanimate object represents relationship to me, but there's a list of people who have given me their time to talk with me about SOMETHING shooting related and their mark is there in the rifle; maybe its how something is configured, a part I chose, or a preference I've developed in employing it. The people have been the best part about my shooting journey and im grateful so many people have given me their time and expertise.

It’s always a blessing (and a lot of pressure) to hunt with old friends. Today, we got to fulfill a birthday wish for Mason. The crew hunted hard all day and we were certainly rewarded with a last minute buzzer beater! Mason snagged this great trophy on his first cast. This almost never happens! The good Lord provided us with an epic hunt and memories we’re sure not to forget! Thanks Brad and Jeanette for trusting me with your boys birthday wish! Next up for this crew is another dinosaur for @t1dmama_shana!! Stay tuned….the adventure continues🐊

To say that the Lord has provided for us over the last few days would be a gross understatement! We were blessed with 2 great gators, but the fellowship and conversations were where the real blessing was!! It was so much fun to get to hangout with my good friend Taylor and his dad and I got to add a new friend in Cade to my life. God has certainly blessed me! Stay tuned, the adventures continue….

Yesterday was one of the coolest hunts that I’ve had in a long time. God puts people in our lives and I am blessed to call Thad my friend. He is a godly man and an inspiration to me. They say age is just a number and Thad embodies that more than you can imagine. I got to be on the boat with my brother, my brother in law and some great friends! The Lord blessed us with great weather, some calm water and a great 10’3” gator for Thad! In case you’re wondering, Thad is only 89. And yes ladies, he is available!
