“It’ll be there on the day” has never been more literal 😂

First CrossFit workouts in a while. Also last CrossFit workouts in a while. I don’t think I’ve ever been that fking deep in the hurt locker before lol.

Third place is honestly all @sabrina_magro’s work. Without her constantly dragging my ass across the black mats, I know for a fact I would’ve pulled out after that first workout. I’m not joking. I lay under a Silverado for 30-40 minutes questioning my entire decision to sign up post WOD 1. I had people come up to me genuinely concerned for my safety haha. Sab also did most of the stuff we didn’t have to split evenly and for that I’ll be forever grateful.

But as much as it sucked, I got to see my buddies on their home turf. That alone made the suffering worth it.

Oh! And a big thank you to one of my best mates @juandcanon for the 48 hour crash course before the comp. If it weren’t for your encouragement and last minute tips, you may have had a chance of beating us 😉

The whole @adaptcrossfit crew rock. Thank you for making me feel like family. @ground.control__ and @juandcanon have built something pretty bloody special. I’m feel super proud and lucky to have represented the box.

following my close friend across the world to watch her do something she loves is pretty special ✨

watching michelle compete has got to be one of my favourite things to do. her standard, her integrity and her resilience has such an impact on everyone around her and i never stop being impressed by the way she shows up, no matter what’s in front of her.

of course, the trip threw us some curveballs, but the way michelle overcame each hurdle is something I admire most about her.

thank you a thousand times over, and I look forward to the next one 🫡
