HOLIDAY TRAVEL HACKS ✈️ POST TRAVEL

If you missed yesterday’s in-route travel hacks, be sure to check that out before digging into the post-travel hacks below!

Today I’m sharing what to do once you reach your destination in order to mitigate the negative effects of travel.
_____

POST-TRAVEL HACKS

1️⃣ Ground yourself - take your shoes off and stand barefoot on the earth to counteract the positive charge that develops during flight or driving. Grounding will help reduce inflammation and support your circadian rhythm

2️⃣ Breathe - use breathing techniques to re-oxygenate your blood and activate your parasympathetic nervous system for recovery

3️⃣ Move your body - exercise or even walking will get the circulation flowing again after being seated for long periods. This will help eliminate toxins, boost your mood and support immune function

4️⃣ Re-nourish - eat lots of healthy fats and nutrient-dense foods to help your brain, gut and muscles repair and regenerate

5️⃣ Repair - look for a local infrared sauna to help detox and repair damage to the cells during travel

These 4, my wonderful daughters, inspire me everyday. ❤️

They inspire me to be creative.

They inspire youthfulness and I’m constantly reminded what it’s like to be young and carefree again.

They inspire me to learn. It’s so amazing that you can never stop learning and growing and trying new things.

They inspire me to laugh at myself and have a sense of humor.

It’s priceless. ❤️

Tell me something that inspires you in the comments 👇🏻
