What a brilliant community day at Chapel Street Park! ☀️💚

A huge thank you to Friends of Chapel Street Park / Bluebell Green @the_bluebell_green and @manchestercitycouncil for organising & making such a lovely day happen.

We loved volunteering at our Taskforce crafts table with the kids!!!! There was music, games, dancing, crafts, lots of smiles and, of course, our Taskforce members making their way down to join in, so lovely you joined us!!!

It was so lovely to have something happening right here in our local area… and even better that the sun decided to come out for us! ☀️😂

Our members had such positive things to say about the day, and it was brilliant seeing different people from the community coming together, having a chat, trying something new and simply enjoying being outside.

We are already looking forward to the next one!🤭

Autumn colours have entered my two little cubbyholes at @groundedmcr ‘s Little Shop. I love the colours and then the combination with candles. Candlelight and a hot drink sitting on the sofa under a blanket make the colder and darker months so much nicer. If you are local, pop in for a seasonal hot drink and cake at the café and do a bit of shopping at the same time. If you have a dog, why not get him a treat by @thebarkhutmcr? Ceramics by Crackpot also available (isn’t the blue speckled vase gorgeous?) #burnage #levenshulme #cringlepark #southmanchester #supportlocalmanchester
