Our Restore projects in Hong Kong are kickstarting powerfully!🌿💪🏻 Last week, our farmers, Technical Advisory Partners (TAPs), and volunteers came together for a hands-on refresher on regenerative practices and the soil science behind them. During the on-site training, new participants learned how to use a variety of tools to evaluate and monitor soil and crop health, gaining deeper insight into nutrient managementand why restoring our land is essential in the fight against climate change. The day was filled with enthusiasm and energy - participants left inspired to put their learning into action and to champion climate-smart farming across Hong Kong. Together, they’re leading the way in soil regeneration and a more resilient future for our food systems.

Our second-year returning grantee! The early stages of transition were challenging for farmer Karen, who initially felt overwhelmed by the science behind various practices. Still, she took a leap of faith and trusted the process, resulting in healthier crops and improved harvests. Over time, Karen grew more confident, experimenting with different types of bioactive plant nutrients as her journey progressed. In the coming year, Grow Something plans to build on this momentum by expanding its practices and finding more efficient ways to implement them.
