Rainy day Longan in St. Pete💧

Longan is a tropical fruit that’s native to Southeast Asia. They are related to Lychee and Rambutan- Lychee is my favorite of the 3. Longan trees are more of a rare sight in the Tampa Bay Area compared to Lychee Trees. This tree was about 5 minutes from DTSP. The local price is anywhere from $4-$10 a lb depending on variety and quality.

Really cool to see a tree this full, they are easy to miss if you aren’t looking. They don’t stand out like a bright red Lychee, the brown color tends to blend in with the tree🌳

S/O @growyourownfl @andrewtsmith_ for the spot

One of the last Haden mangos that I picked from my uncle’s tree in South Florida 🥭 This fruit has incredible coconut notes and subtle terpenes if eaten before it’s too ripe. 😋 #FortLauderdale #MangoSeason #Haden #Mango #TreeRipened
