Capturing the story of my life, one chapter at a time.

I’ve recently had the pleasure of getting up close and personal with some stunning kestrels. It is hard not to be impressed by how hard these birds work each day just to stay alive. They look beautiful but are excellent hunters. Wait for the little head shake at the end. That’s my favourite bit.

Mexico. But perhaps not the Mexico you’re expecting.

In November 2027, Sendero Travel will be heading into the Yucatán Peninsula for 12 days of birds, wildlife, photography and culture.

From the flamingos and mangroves of Río Lagartos to endemic birds, Maya cities, cenotes and the wildlife of Sian Ka’an and Cozumel.

But for us, a great wildlife trip is about more than ticking off species.

It’s about slowing down. Spending time in the field. Working with knowledgeable local guides. And experiencing a place properly.

Just messing about with some reels. It’s true though, I’m a photographer and I did take that photo. Lovely juvenile cuckoo feeding on caterpillars before the long flight to Africa. Hopefully I get to see this one return again next year. Keep safe little one.

Recently I had the honour to attend my ex colleagues wedding in Cascais, Portugal. The groom was on my team and I adored him because of his good heart. His then girlfriend who also worked at the same company, I immediately gravitated to because she is soo FAB.

Sunny and I would often text each other in the evenings, mostly chit chatting about girly stuff. One thing I do remember her saying was Ricky is the only person in her life that makes her feel 💯 safe. My heart melted and knew they would always be together.

They are also a funny couple. One of my visits to the UK, we were at a Five Guys and they swooped me up and said today is your birthday. I told them it wasn’t but they insisted it was and brought me to the counter. Little did I know I could get a free milkshake if it was my birthday. In my head I thought this couple is a keeper in my friends circle because they got me sweets which is the key to my stomach and heart 🤣.

I enjoyed every minute of your wedding and meeting your family and friends! Thank you @thesunnysoul7 @ricardomrp

Another one from my trip to Richmond Park on Sunday. Same stag but slightly different approach. For me it’s about the details - the bit of bracken dangling from the left antler. Remember always watch from a respectful distance and be careful. Hope you enjoy.

The Gap Project - Queens Road, Broadstairs has long played a huge part in Broadstairs community life, for many years. One of my founders memories as a young mum

Enjoying a mother and baby group at Queens Road Baptist church with my Evie. It gave a great mix of women a chance to chat and meet, kids to socialise and of course the great older guy with his piano skills to compliment our amazing singing and dancing!
I am still friends with many of the ladies I meet there and I know they feel the same.

The Gap offers support to anyone in need. Whether it be new parents seeking advice, older people wanting to share company, homeless people needing support or teenagers struggling with their mental health, the Gap Project is there ready to help. But this all takes MONEY!!!!

Alice a friend and local girl like myself takes her little ones to the group I did 18 years later! It's not changed much, being just at should be, friendly, warm, easy and happy.
A safe community space!
A vital for any community to thrive!

Alice approached me to help raise some cash for the charity and I jumped at giving back, so please help us make it worth it!

Share, like and follow and 100% get involved!

Please come and join us for a fun workout on the beach in the sun (fingers crossed)!
Cake and coffee after and it's high tide too, so a little dip in the sea for good measure!

EVERYONE WELCOME!
All of those that donate also go into a raffle for free membership to my classes!

Feeling grateful for the time watching this family of kingfishers go about their daily duties. Stunning colours that we so often only get a fleeting glimpse of.

Popped over to Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve and into the middle of these Great Crested Grebes doing the Weed Ceremony. Beautiful to watch.
