Winter is coming… but it’s still shorts weather

I had to go back to close the boot.

It’s nice to be so close to the @strathpuffer route when it’s not -15 and snowy… but let’s be honest we have that to look forward to in January!

Also trying to make Ernie a trail dog… but he loves sniffing too much, he did great though today with a 12.5km lap of running, he’s KO now though

Golden hour in the Highlands, Is there anywhere else better!?

The light’s going earlier, the lanes are getting muddier and the gravel bike is officially due a deep clean 🍂

I’m not hanging up the outdoor kit, winter rides are some of my favourites. But on dark, wet weeknights it’s nice to have a plan B: shorter, focused sessions that still get the training done.

How are you keeping the miles going this winter? 👇

We are in control of the choices we make in life 😉

Yes things may not go the way we planned, but we are in control of how we react to unforseen circumstances 😀

One hell of an adventure, and another reminder of why I love this gravel life. The miles, the trails, the challenges and everything that comes with it, including kit that well - just works! Thanks @grvl.apparel

It’s that time of the year where now the eyes are firmly fixed on 2027… 👀

✅ Dirty Reiver - confirmed.
❓ What else? A few ideas are already brewing…

The calendar’s taking shape. The adventures are calling.

🌶️’s in Bristol. Went to do a repeat of the Alpkit Sonder Winter Gravel series route from last year, it was biblically wet last time out so thought we would give it a go in the dry. Bloody good route and a great squad out 🙌🏼

.... destination unknown 😉

Sometimes having a plan makes us stick to it. Sticking to it means we may miss out on amazing things because we are too busy executing the set plan 😉

Since making the very over due decision of closing the door on my career within the public services, I have ventured on many opportunities I would never have dreamt of because I always worried about the 'what if it goes wrong...'

Ive learnt to be open minded about journeys, live in the moment, venture on opportunities as and when they arise and just be more content with myself. This includes venturing on bike adventures with no set route. . Just a plan of 'lets see what happens' 😍

If you ever worry about the 'what if it goes wrong' tell yourself this..

...'what if it goes well' 😉

Remember, anything that could go wrong could also go right 💪

Just explore 🌳 🚴‍♀️🌳
