Excited and honored to serve on the Community Advisory Board for the Junior League of Lafayette! I look forward to strengthening community partnerships, fostering meaningful connections, and supporting initiatives that make a difference.

From attending Tinsel & Treasures and the general membership meeting to supporting a diaper drive hosted by The705, it’s been rewarding to serve in multiple capacities—as a board member, 20 Under 40 alumnus, and former board member of The705.

Service is most impactful when we use our connections and opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others!

The brothers of the Lambda Psi Chapter of Sigma Chi are proud to recognize William Waguespack, Mark Enright, Cody Lyons, Chandler Dew, and alumnus Grayson Stepanek for representing our chapter at this year’s Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Throughout the week, they participated in leadership development, strategic chapter planning, and collaborative sessions with brothers from across North America and Canada bringing back new ideas and a renewed commitment to the continued success of Lambda Psi.

We are also proud to announce that Lambda Psi has earned the J. Dwight Peterson Significant Chapter Blue Award, recognizing excellence in recruitment, scholarship, philanthropy, Ritual, leadership, and overall chapter operations.

Receiving a Blue Peterson places our chapter among the top 25% of Sigma Chi chapters across the United States and Canada. Lambda Psi was also the only chapter in our Province to receive the award this year!

Congratulations to every brother, alumnus, and advisor whose dedication made this achievement possible. Your commitment to excellence continues to strengthen our chapter and uphold the values of Sigma Chi.

James & Rebecca stopped by @the705’s July Member Meeting last week, hosted by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the Lite Center— and walked away impressed by everything LSBDC does to support entrepreneurs across our state. 💼

Center Director Ryan Devillier broke down the resources LSBDC offers: one-on-one consulting, market research, workshops, and growth planning — real support for business owners whether they’re just getting started or scaling up.

It’s always a good time catching up with fellow 705 members, swapping ideas, and hearing directly from the people building Acadiana’s small business community. 💛💙♥️

Honored for the opportunity to pour into our community through two impactful presentations this season!

Partnering with Grayson Stepanek and The705 for the February Member Meeting, we explored “Building Strategic Relationships,” sharing practical strategies for cultivating meaningful, mutually beneficial connections.

I also had the pleasure of teaming up with Dr. Mechelle Roberthon and United Way of Acadiana for the Nonprofit Meetup on “Future-Focused Leadership,” where we discussed how organizations can navigate change and lead with intention in an evolving landscape.

Always thankful to collaborate with friends and leaders who are passionate about creating lasting impact in our community!
