This will forever be one of our favorite spots. Each designer knows that a simple shot like this represents so many details, drawings, decisions, and management tasks.

From the custom stained floor design to the antique church pews that we were lucky enough to find for purchase from a favorite client.

At the end of day, it's just plain cozy. A warm welcome for anyone entering the house, which is the perfect match for this special family who exudes warmth and generosity.

📣 🥳 IT'S OFFICIAL!
She's an award-winning home 🎉🎉

Last weekend, The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) @asidcarolinas held their annual conference, where we took home The Platinum Award for Design Excellence. It's the highest honor we could receive, and it filled us with so much gratitude and joy to see this home celebrated.

A project that began as a life-long dream for our clients, this was the house they always wanted: perfect to carry them through retirement with ease, and lovingly designed for time with family, connection to the outdoors, and space to make memories (especially in the grandkids suite 🥰). They shared their vision with us, and we worked to bring their dream to life with intention, care, skill, and heart. This large-scale custom estate home design was a full team effort, including our amazing trade partners and @bosthomes. But the biggest thank you goes to our wonderful clients, for allowing us the privilege to create their dream.

So much love and thanks to our INCREDIBLE photographer @mb_productions_nc and Stylist @gthr.d team, who beautifully captured the soul of this home.

🤩👀 The cover of @designerstoday, featuring yours truly 🎉🎉

We always say that we want to let the work speak for itself, because that's where our heart is. As a team and a business, we put our soul into crafting homes that are just what our clients have always dreamed of- the spaces that bring them joy every day.

That said...it never hurts to see your work on the cover of one of your favorite national design magazines 😉

Seeing this on the stands all over High Point Furniture Market will be surreal (and exciting). We love this feature, because it speaks to who we are and why we do this work. And, it includes our most trusted team mantra: "Plan the work; work the plan" (trademark pending 😄). It's what brings dream homes like this one to life.

A HUGE thank you to two people who made this possible:
Our Photographer, @mb_productions_nc AND our Stylist, @gthr.d. They are AMAZING, and we celebrate their talent daily.

Swipe to the end to see the “before” of this entry. It was a beautiful blank slate and we added warmth in with the millwork, stained door, and cozy table vignette.

Want to know where we shine?

1. Making your home come to life ☀️
2. Selecting layers of textiles and colors that work together to feel cozy and warm yet fresh and rejuvenating 🫶🏼
3. Seeing the end goal & then getting you there [with our amazing teams, trades, workrooms, contractors, and installers!] ✔️
4. Remembering the details. Because it’s not just a zoomed out perspective you need — you also need the zoomed IN version too! That sees every last styling accessory, layering pillow, window trim detail and paint sheen to really pull off a project 👌🏼
5. Setting expectations — for our clients, but also our trades and vendors that we bring into your project 👷🏼‍♂️
6. Knowing our lane — taking responsibility for the tasks and roles that we play & letting others do what their best at! 🙋🏻‍♀️
7. Understanding your desires & using our professional expertise and knowledge to navigate how to get there in the most efficient way 🎉

Long weekends that call us to the outdoor spaces ☀️

A few of our favorites: Screened-in porches and a breeze. Outdoor dining tables for alllllllll the cookouts. Shady front porches and slow mornings. And, we had to include the pool and the firepit, because we love to soak up the last little bit of summer before it goes.

Outdoor living is something we love to create for our clients. We never underestimate how much a comfortable, accessible outdoor space can bring joy to the everyday ✨

Happy weekend, fam 🫶🏻

The “ber” months have arrived, but the weather says otherwise! 😎 We’re happy to linger in the last few weeks of summer, especially if it means more time in backyards like this.

With the pool house doors fully open, loungers out, and umbrellas up; this space was designed to blur the line between indoors and out. It took a true village to bring together, with landscaping, construction and design all working in step to make it the place to be to wrap up summer! 🌊
