POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Someone said we fell off, ooh we needed that 😮‍💨. Thank you to @CanvasRebel for interviewing us for your magazine again. In this interview, we held nothing back. We shared our failures as well as our successes. We’ve been so busy focusing on our businesses (Airbnb, @JEANieEvents, @JEANieUniversity) that we haven’t had much time to sit back and look at what we’ve accomplished. Thank you to Canvas Rebel for the space to do so and share it with our supporters. To watch the full interview, click the link in our bio.

A few weekends ago, members of the Womenful Voice community had the chance to connect in person 💜

Moments like these remind us that behind every project, program, and initiative are people who care deeply about creating positive change.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and help build brighter futures for women, girls, and communities in Haiti. ✨

Chicago absolutely filled my heart. 💙
The Kellogg Foundation is doing something special, reminding us that youth are not the future, they're the NOW, the present.

The Festival Every Child Thrive was exceptional, inspiring... And their love for Haiti? So real and pure.

My favorite part? The Obama Presidential Center Museum.

I felt every possible feeling you know, sadness seeing how similar the Black story is everywhere, but also hope. Hope because if the US could elect a Black president, change is possible.

And the Obamas' genuine love for people? You can feel it. I can't even put it all into words but you will feel lots of feelings. I am happy to see how much intention @barackobama and @michelleobama put into this gem of work. The US needs such a place.

Thank you, Chicago! Thank you Kellogg 🙏❤️

I’ve been deeply inspired by one simple truth: young people don’t just need a seat at the table, they are already more capable than we often give them credit for. That’s why I’ve made a personal commitment to mentor at least one Haitian youth every year, walking with them until they reach their own definition of success.

What strikes me most is how youth speak from a place of love and innocence, unclouded by the weight of the past. As adults, we tend to operate from experience, and sometimes, from trauma. But when we really listen, we realize they have just as much to teach us as we have to offer them. I come away from every interaction renewed, re-energized, and deeply grateful.

At Kellogg, I had the honor of meeting LaJune in person, the first Black woman to serve as president of the Kellogg Foundation and reconnecting with Dr. Khan, the board chair. Those moments reminded me why I’m proud to be an alumni. Sharing space with people who have shaped who I am today was nothing short of humbling.

So I’ll close with this: I’m not here to fix anyone. I’m here to learn, to lift, and to believe, right alongside them. Because when we all thrive, every child truly can.

Every Child Thrive!

My biggest pride! Womenful Voice started as little project and now a whole organization making impact and funding relied solely on my husband and I at the beginning. We spent a few years donating 20% of our household income because we wanted to make sure we turn Womenful Voice into what it is today. Us (@malaika_muthoni and I) agronomist from @u_earth have transformed this area that was feeding the water that our little farmers use to grow our rice.

I will always be grateful to all volunteers and contractors at @womenfulvoice for their dedication.
I want to take this opportunity to say a big Thank you to @bertrhude for the exceptional effort to support the project of the people in Ouanaminthe. Our rice that was destroyed is flourishing because of it.

To more canals, more trees, more rice and better environment for the people of Haiti. Food security is key and we can't do it without restoring our soil.

Thanking God for an amazing 2025 and cheers to an even better 2026 🧁

To anyone reading this, here’s your reminder that you deserve to celebrate you! It’s so important to spend time uplifting one another. We truly need that, it’s restful and fulfilling especially because a lot of times it’s hard to see what we accomplish but it’s helpful when we acknowledge it and cheering each other on was the icing on the cake because as women we don’t get to do that enough. We’re proud of everyone out here that keeps pushing even when they don’t want to. Whether it’s starting an Airbnb or simply getting just paying off debt, it’s important to celebrate even the little things because life can get hard so anything we can do to push ourselves forward and make our lives better and happier is a big deal.

And for those who are interested in becoming an Airbnb host, buying a home, paying off debt, raising your credit score, getting on TV, etc. we have virtual classes and ebooks coming for you soon!

What are some accomplishments that you’re most proud of from 2025?

Have you watched our Fully Furnished Home Tour yet? It’s on our YouTube channel, @thejeantwins, link in bio. Being new homeowners is fun. It’s nice creating a space you hate leaving and can’t wait to return to.

For all our fellow homeowners, you know buying a home isn’t an easy and a long journey. We have so many people asking us about the home buying process. We want to answer each and every person and we found the easiest way, an online course and ebook focusing on home buying! Go ahead and follow, @jeanieuniversity for our upcoming course DROPPING SOON. We can’t wait to give you all the information that will put you on your way to generational wealth.
There are many benefits to owning a home:
1. Forced Savings
• Paying down a mortgage is a way to build wealth by “saving” through equity.
• Owning a home actually saves you money while renting does the opposite.
2. Increase your Net Worth
• Owning a home increases your net worth creating assets for your generational wealth.
3. Investment Growth
• Real estate often appreciates over time, potentially providing a good return on investment if you sell later.
4. Equity Building
• Each mortgage payment increases your ownership (equity) in the home.
• Over time, as property values increase, so does your net worth.
3. Find out more benefits of home buying by tuning into our online course!

And don’t forget to tune in to our YouTube video that shows you every nook and cranny of our home lol. From our backyard to our second guest bedroom and garage.
