We love celebrating the people creating meaningful opportunities for kids in our community, and we love providing the opportunity for our community members and their children to participate in such wonderful things.

Guided Wild Forest School gives young people the chance to learn through nature, curiosity, and hands-on experiences that stick with them long after the day is over.

Did you know that programs like these may be covered through the Ozment Art Foundation's Yes Pass scholarship? If cost is keeping your family from participating, we'd love to have a conversation.

Our goal is simple: help more kids say "yes" to opportunities that inspire them.

Learn. Explore. Grow.

Don’t miss out on these coloring pages at your local eateries and coffee shops around town this week!

As part of @pc_earlychildhoodcoaltion “Week of the Young Child” Studio49 and @themainprintshop have sponsored a coloring challenge where your little one can color a page designed by one of our very own students!

Kiddos 0-8 are eligible for entry into a drawing for their coloring pages, and prizes are provided by local business! Thank you @guided_wild for putting this all together!

Make sure to ask for a coloring page this week while out and about with your little one :)

A 2025 highlight: teaching campers indigo dyeing during @guided_wild Nature Art camp weeks, then spotting the kids' customized blue and white t-shirts worn and reworn at camp and all around town. Pictured here on Celia, accompanied by her good buddy Townes during the Livingston Roundup Parade on July 2. Big love to the creative, colorful community of Livingston and Park County 💙🩵 with assist from @plaintotheridge 🫶🏼 Ty Andrea and @guided_wild!

What an incredible month and even better year.

Thank you to everyone who came out last Friday for our One-Year Anniversary party. It was an absolute blast, and was the best way to wrap up a year of creation.

And thank you to everyone who had a hand in the workshops, classes, events, and fundraising opportunities all year long.
This Studio space is a culmination of the love Livingston has for the arts and imagination, and we wouldn’t be here without YOU.

With this momentum we have gathered this month, we are heading steadfast into another year of Studio49 creative madness.

Today is the LAST DAY to donate through Give a Hoot where all our donations are matched.

𝔼𝕞𝕖𝕣𝕒𝕝𝕕 𝔸𝕤𝕙 𝔹𝕠𝕣𝕖𝕣 𝔸𝕨𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜— Livingston, what a week it’s been for our trees! As we power through the midpoint of our planting week, we’re also taking time to highlight 𝔼𝕞𝕖𝕣𝕒𝕝𝕕 𝔸𝕤𝕙 𝔹𝕠𝕣𝕖𝕣 (𝔼𝔸𝔹) 𝔸𝕨𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜!

EAB hasn’t made it to Montana yet, but this invasive pest is a serious threat to ash trees nationwide. 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕥’𝕤 𝕨𝕙𝕪 𝕓𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝕟𝕠𝕨 𝕚𝕤 𝕤𝕠 𝕚𝕞𝕡𝕠𝕣𝕥𝕒𝕟𝕥 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕥𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕃𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕟’𝕤 𝕓𝕖𝕒𝕦𝕥𝕚𝕗𝕦𝕝 𝕦𝕣𝕓𝕒𝕟 𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕥.

In fact, our “Livingston Loves Trees” initiative began in 2021 specifically as a community-initiated response to this very threat due to the fact, our urban forest is majority ash trees, ensuring we’re ready before EAB arrives.

It’s been inspiring to see the dedication from our tree planting volunteers, tree adopters, and the growing partnership with the City of Livingston. This effort is all about diversifying our urban forest and making it stronger against threats like EAB.

By the end of this week, we’ll have planted 375 trees in our community in total! Local projects like this are what makes Livingston such a special place – community members continue to come together to build a more resilient and beautiful place for everyone.

Do you have an ash tree? Want to learn more about EAB and how you can help protect your tree? Check out Xerces Society to find really useful resources on how to proactively protect your ash tree!

Thank you to @sarahfayemontana and @coffeecrossingmontana for supporting the tree team today with food and coffee! And thank you to Matt’s Meats and @foodworkslivingston for feeding us earlier this week!

If you see us out, be sure to say hi and spread the love, let the tree team know you care!!
