A season of Whislife! From Memorial Day to Labor Day, and the summer solstice to the autumn equinox, Whistler, BC has been our home away from home. 🇨🇦
I’m so grateful for these core memories with my boys!

Earlier this month we had our last week of #YouthFreerideGuild for the summer. The idea this year was to work on progressing the kid’s skills as always, but to add a new dimension to the experience. This week that new dimension was getting professional pics done of the kids riding on the last day of camp!

We made lots of progress and had lots of fun the rest of the week. Pictures are coming, but here’s a short edit to give you a taste of what we worked on.

Thanks for coming out to shoot, Spencer!

Got a kid age 10 to 14 that’s into riding jumps and doing tricks? Fall session is coming next month. Check the website for more info.

Week 2 of YFG is done. We’ve had the return of some of our rad friends and some new (and young) arrivals bringing new energy to the program. Here’s a small taste of some of the skills that we worked on from the viewpoint of me coaching. Please forgive the audio outbursts. I tend to get excited. 😳😂

In Week 2, we got a chance to film with videographer and drone stunt pilot Nathan Harris. I’ve had a chance to see some of what we took last week and I’m super excited to show it off! Expect a small amount here in the next few weeks with most of it getting used for an upcoming Shoot the Trails edit. Thanks again Nathan for bringing your patience and skill as we add this new layer to the mix!

Next week will be our last week this summer. We’ll be shooting for the camera again. This time it will be photography with @spencerpras!

We still have a few spots left. If you have a young shredder age 10 to 14 who’s looking to show their skills amd learn new ones, sign ‘em up!

🏁 phat kidz fridays race series @whistlerbikeprk was an absolute blast!!
.
• this was Parker’s introduction to racing, and fridays quickly became his favourite day … he got to ditch out of school early to lap the park with friends, made some new riding buddies, laid down some solid race runs, took home the win 🥇 in the b-line race, and finished the series 3rd overall in the (very heavily stacked) boys 7-8 category 🥉
.
.
🤘🏽 thank you @wbmtnevents for an awesome series, we can’t wait for next year! and thank you @eddiemuscroftphotography + @oisinmchughphoto for always getting the best action shots 📸

Following @galbraithgravity groms @guiding_gavin and Chase down #Aline. So crazy seeing these kids casually tossing one footers and Suis around on proper sized jumps, I was practicing endos and how many laps I could pedal my block with no hands at their age 🤣. This new gen is something else!

Saying goodbye to Bella Lewis was not easy. It’s been two weeks without her, and not nearly enough time to mend my broken heart. 💔 🐾
This beautiful creature was the pitbull dog I’d always wanted-loyal, playful, loving, and strong! Thank you James @jameslewisthird for sharing your dog with our family! Her spirit will forever live on in our hearts and minds! @guiding_gavin #pitbull #love #bella

Spring 2026 Galbraith Gravity MTB racing series was legendary! Gavin has been riding almost every day for the past 8 weeks and competed fiercely in all 6 races. He absolutely destroyed his times from last year and dominated with 4/6 first place finishes and first overall. I’m so proud of my seven year old for his bravery, passion and skill, but also for his commitment to living actively, surrounded by nature! @guiding_gavin

Thanks very much to the amazing coaches, organizers, and sponsors of @galbraithgravity as well as the local Bellingham bike community and all of the racers and Gavin’s teammates! 🚵🚵‍♀️🫶🏽
