That’s a wrap on the ɪ ʀɪᴋᴏᴛᴀ ʀᴇᴄᴏʀᴅ ꜰᴀɪʀ. What a dream team!

Thanks to all the stall holders and everyone who was part of it — no better way for vinyl heads to gather and give pre-loved records a new home. Until the next one, stay close ❤️

This is what happens when you ask your street photographer friend to shoot your snake-themed wedding.

When you make 80 platters and 140 plates by hand.

When you ask a guy you meet at the Vinnies in Molong to be your musician, and he ends up your newest friend.

When your mates chop down trees, be your cowboy priest celebrant, embroider dresses, make jewellery, tow toilets, order vegetables, make signs, decorate a marquee and wear snakeprint.

When mates of mates mind the babies and mates of mates of mates cook two lambs over an open fire.

When your family works for months, drives the bridal tractor, goes to the flower market and delivers possibly the greatest best man speech in recorded history.

When you learn the worm, bruise a rib, build a bonfire, smash your finger moving rocks and somehow pull it all off.

The best day of our lives. Thank to everyone who contributed and turned up. We love you.

What better way to warm our new home than having a dance with you all?

Join us at our new @rikota.studio store in Marrickville on Saturday (May 3) for a little housewarming get-together. We’ll be there from 2PM–10PM, with an all-local lineup of artists and friends: Folie, Kuta @anthonyc._, @mazzacles, @tsura.feed & the fanático crew.

It’s free, BYO, and our friends at @gula_au are bringing a food stall—so come hungry. Of course, the store will be open for a few hours—welcome to dig.

Thanks to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far. We can’t wait to share this new chapter with you—bring a friend or come solo, we’d love to see you either way.

Our wedding ruled but it only ruled because of all the huge legends who helped us put it on. Here's just a couple of the big dogs whose blood, sweat and tears are woven into the fabric of our wedding and memories forever 💗

PARAO was probably the most ambitious event that we have put on to date and we still can’t believe the magic that unfolded.

10 days ago, we hosted 3 electronic live performances in a gorgeous and seemingly unknown theatre. Each of the artists took us on a blissful and otherworldly journey through sound accompanied by officially the most spectacular light show we have ever seen.

We also had never ever witnessed an audience as silent and absorbed in the moment, it was truly out of this world.

The vibe in the courtyard was heartwarming as people were connecting and chatting around the fire about the performances they had just seen while slurping down delicious noodle soup.

The overwhelming response by so many, stating how badly “Sydney needs this” and “please do more events like this” has left us so incredibly humbled, inspired and raring for the next edition.

Thank you to every one of you for your participation, support and trust in what we do. And for totally tapping into the experience.

And a very special thank you thank you thank you to @mara.mara.mara @andreeeeaaaaas @chloeonlight @samwilhere @jesuislegoose @hosca__ @andres_fanatico @gula_au @esterandreh @pact_sydney @melodypak1
