Acid Tongue is no more.
On September 11th 2026 at The Chapel, San Francisco’s own @guykeltner let the sunset on @acidtongue with a celebration that literally ended in fire with a room full of love.

Cheers to the next chapter!

💥 TONIGHT! 💥 (Friday 9/11) After more than 11 years of genre-defying garage rock, psychedelia, and punk, Acid Tongue returns to San Francisco for one final performance.

The band’s farewell show at The Chapel with Damma Damma marks the end of a journey that has stretched from clubs across the West Coast to festivals throughout Europe, earning a reputation for unforgettable live performances and a fiercely independent spirit. Join us for one last night as Acid Tongue takes its final bow.

Surprise! Our final album, “Live From Binic”, drops on August 28th on all platforms. This new record captures one of our all time favorite sets at @binicfolksbluesfestival last year in France. Big thanks to their team and our label @beast_records_official for making all of this possible. Oh yea! I did this children’s artwork myself. The album was mixed by our beautiful bassist @_car_mello & mastered by @adrianoogiannini ❤️

El Aniversario 🔥🎶🔥🙌🏽
Gracias gracias a todos🙏🏽

One year ago, we unlocked the doors, dropped the needle on the first record, took a chance, and created SOUNDWAVE.

I didn’t just want to open a bar—I wanted to create a place where music could be experienced the way it was meant to be. A place where vinyl spins, conversations matter, strangers become friends, and every night has its own soundtrack.

To everyone who has walked through our doors this past year—thank you. Whether you came for a drink, discovered a new record, danced with us, played a set, performed on our little stage, shared a laugh, or simply sat back and listened, you became part of what SOUNDWAVE is.

A special thank you to our friends, family, and our team who showed up when we needed them the most 🙏🏽. You know who you are. 🫂❤️

SOUNDWAVE has never been just a bar—it’s a community. Thank you for believing in independent spaces, analog sound, live music, local artists, and the simple magic of gathering around great music.

One year down. Countless memories made. Many more records to spin.

Here’s to everyone who’s been part of this journey—and to everything still to come.

See you at the bar.

With love,

SOUNDWAVE Record Bar 📀🎛️📀

Be gentle with the comments I’m too sensitive right now 😂🫂❤️
