I had such a great experience yesterday at @gvsumusic !

Working with GVSU students was a blast! I got to perform together with Noah and Sam on beautiful Indonesian folk tunes arrangements by @anandasukarlan ! I also had the opportunity to give a masterclass to Isaac, one of @gvsu.dr.cho.piano.studio ‘s students on Schumann Op. 26’s Intermezzo!! Super fun!

Most importantly, I could share my passion on Indonesian music and gamelan-influenced compositions! I have the loveliest audience and students to work with! I am so grateful for the great questions and interactions from GVSU community last night!

Thank you for having me, and until next time! 🥰

NEW HOLIDAY JUST DROPPED. Do you love Valentine's Day, but always felt it could use more trombone? Well, let me introduce you to Trombo-Tines Day. All the love, all the trombone, all the time.

The GVSU Trombone Studio has been hard at work making YOUR favorite love songs in trombone quartet arrangements, and we'll be showing them off in SVS at @gvsumusic this upcoming Tuesday, Feb 17 at 7:30 PM.

See you there! Or on the stream... https://www.gvsu.edu/mtd/live-stream-72.htm

PS, I do my own graphic design. 🙏
