TTW | MEET THE TEAM Today we would love to shine a spotlight on our wonderful dance tutors.
1. ALICE RHODES (top left) Trained: Trinity Laben and BoyBlue Ent.
Professional Credits include : THRILLER Live, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, George Ezra, Pharrel, Will.I.AM, French Montana and More. Alice founded her own commercial dance and modelling agenct CRAFT ENT. Alice specialises in commercial and Heels dance.
2. GWENDOLEN NELSON (top right) Trained: DeMontfort University, London company The BalletBoyz, RAD and BBO. Credits include: Dancer roles in movies such as Summerland 2020, Last Night in Soho 2021, Last Letter from Your Lover 2021, and Doctor Strange 2 2022, and TV series Britannia 2 and Pennyworth. Choreography credits include: 2023 movie The Boys in the Boat by Director George Clooney, Garsington Opera’s Youth Company, Noble Jacks music videos. Gwen is an established ballet teacher, technique, and conditioning coach for all levels.
3. CHARLOTTE O’ROURKE (botton left) Trained: Guildford School of Acting. Credits Include: Karen in Muriel’s Wedding (UK premier, Leicester Curve), Dance Captain/Understudies in The Lightning Thief - The Percy Jackson Musical (UK premier, The Other Palace), Dance Captain/Understudies in Cruel Intentions (UK Premier, The Other Palace) Ali/Sophie Understudy in Mamma Mia! (West End and UK Tour) and more. As well as working with our students, Charlotte is on the teaching staff at GSA and Goldsmiths University.
4. ELLIE BEVERIDGE (bottom right) Trained: ICTHEATRE. Ellie spent her third year in training as dance captain (Young Frankenstein) getting the opportunity to work alongside a variety of incredible choreographers. Ellie is a core member of our dance academy leading students through their ISTD tap training and choreographing other styles such as commericial, jazz and contemporary.
