Seeing this project get installed was so incredibly rewarding and wonderful. This was an easy idea to conceptualize and a challenging one to engineer and execute. And yet… everything came out flawlessly. I am very proud of all of us!
“Wings of Change” is a permanent installation at @northpointdev in Kansas City.
I have been working on it for a looong time (2.5- 3 years)
Inspired in transformation, the cycles of life, flight and growth, reflecting many important stages I lived through in this time.
So grateful for this opportunity to dream and create. Grateful for everyone who added to the vision.

“Wings of Change” finally in its full glory. 🙌🪽

After nearly three years of sketches, conversations, and relentless exploration, the sculpture has finally taken physical form.

Inspired by life, DNA, transformation, flight, and the cycles of existence, the piece centers on two intersecting spirals.
A sequence of spheres symbolizes the cycles we all move through, moments of immersion, challenge, growth, and renewal. For the first time, birds become a central element in my work. A flow of elements that seamlessly evolve from intricate feathers and leaves into birds taking flight. Flight, for me, is a metaphor for life itself. We grow our wings, learn to fly, land, and when life shifts, we learn to fly again in a new way.

Light is another thread, asking how we can live brighter, more radiant lives. And finding alignment; coming to the center point where everything perfectly lines up.

Wings of Change now lives at NorthPoint Development in Kansas City, created in collaboration with @ari.lazer whose creativity and craftsmanship helped shape the final piece in profound ways. He joined the process halfway through and helped transform the vision into a three-dimensional reality. He brought his own creative eye, experience, skill, and sensitivity to the work, and infused the piece with priceless contributions.

Seeing an idea that lived in my imagination for so long finally materialize is hard to put into words. Every artwork begins as a wild thought. This one found its wings. 🪽🙌🪽

This past year it has been such a delight to be collaborating with @claudiabuenoart - a series of dream come true moments, in art and life. And watching this spiral of 84 steel feathers come together is at the top of the list.

Deeply grateful for @roxizendegi and @habritual for opening these doors, and coordinating the project. To @bentimby, April Pugh @ingrainstudio, and Emily Loubser for being such a fabulous team on the ground!

And to Nathaniel Hagedorn, and the whole amazing team at @northpointdev for the vision, trust and tremendous support in bringing all the pieces to life.

This glitter is NOT plastic….And it biodegrades!!🪲

It looks like a boring powder. But suspend it — and it comes alive.

Iridescent. Shimmering. No chemicals. Just microscopic structures that bend light the way a scarab beetle’s shell does.

We used this pigment by @sparxell to build five trophies for the GAEA Awards — a @worldeconomicforum initiative honoring the organizations actually doing the work to protect our planet 🌍

Roxi is a regenerative artivist, protopian design futurist, experiential producer, transdisciplinary social sculptor and creative doula.

She just concluded "Once Upon a Future: Retreat into Futurecraft & Storymaking," a guided exploration of future folklore. Participants rekindled their power to co-author the future. Creativity becomes a collaborative act with the more-than-human world — an invitation to weave visions alongside wind, trees and time itself. People crafted their own visionary fragment of a future culture — a glimpse of what could be.

Roxi works at the intersection of art, science, experience and technology to catalyze social and systemic change through inclusive, transdisciplinary collaborations for the regeneration of our planet and culture. Her path is grounded in a commitment to creating inspiring and embodied ways of learning together.

Roxi is the CEO and Founder of HabRitual, an experiential production, interdisciplinary design and immersive art studio committed to integrating nature’s regenerative system design to inform and inspire holistic collaboration and design for all life to thrive, not just humans.

Roxi is also the Ecosystem Director + ARTchitect of Design Science Studio.
