Bad Apple!! on a Tamagotchi Paradise. 🍎
I was supposed to feed it, but here we are.

❓ Is Bad Apple!! really playing on a Tamagotchi?
Yes! I recreated the iconic black-and-white music video on a real Tamagotchi Paradise. All 3 minutes and 39 seconds play with a chiptune arrangement of the song! Here’s 25 seconds of it in action.

❓ What is Bad Apple!!?
It’s the famous Touhou music video that the internet keeps finding ways to play on increasingly unlikely devices. Naturally, the Tamagotchi had to join in.

❓ Can you add custom games and apps to Tamagotchi Paradise?
Yes! My P-COM module supports sending custom games and apps to your Tamagotchi Paradise through the free P-COM web app.

❓ What else can P-COM do?
P-COM is the Tamagotchi Paradise Home Lab by Tamagotchi Center. Use it to arrange playdates, unlock secret characters, breed with Lab characters, send exclusive Lab items and customise item sprites, names and prices. It also supports custom games such as Doom, EZ Gotchi and a music sequencer!

❓ How do I use the P-COM?
Connect the module to your Tamagotchi Paradise and any computer or Android device, then open the P-COM web app. The app runs in your browser, and module updates are free.

❓ Where can I get the P-COM?
Find the P-COM module in the Tamagotchi Center shop — link in bio. Already own one? Update it through the web app to access the latest features.

DOOM on a Tamagotchi Paradise. I was supposed to raise a pet. I raised hell instead. 🥚🔥
Meet Para Doom: my tiny, playable Doom-inspired FPS running directly on a real Bandai Tamagotchi Paradise.
The entire download is 65,508 bytes — under 64 KiB — including both levels, graphics and music.
A tiny FAQ for the inevitable “HOW?!”:

Is it actually playable?
Yes. The toy handles the game logic, rendering, controls and sound locally. It isn't a prerecorded animation or streamed gameplay.

Is this the original Doom engine?
It's a purpose-built C engine using Doom shareware artwork, music and simplified map layouts. A compact homebrew adaptation, not the complete original game or a PC emulator.
What's the hardware?
The original Sonix SNC73410 ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller, a 128×128 colour screen, three buttons and the rotary dial. The game view is 128×104, with the HUD below.

Which levels are included?
E1M1 Hangar and E1M9 Military Base, adapted for the toy. Yes, there are TWO playable levels in that single patch.

What made it into the game?
Textured walls, floors and ceilings; directional monster sprites; visible imp fireballs; animated doors and Doomguy face; keycards and locked doors; explosive barrels with chain reactions; secret rooms; health and ammo pickups; a pause map; and completion time, kills and secrets.

How do you control it?
A moves forward, C moves backward, the dial turns and B fires. Press the dial to use doors; hold it to mute. Hold A+C for the pause map. Run out of shells and B throws punches.

Does it have sound?
Chiptune arrangements through the toy's buzzer, plus 13 synthesised effects. Hangar's full 1:36 guitar arrangement loops; Military Base has its own 2:17 track.

How does it fit?
Firmware reverse engineering, a custom PRAM patch, fixed-point rendering, compact assets and ZX0 compression. Everything ships in one binary, accessible via the P-COM module.
You start each map with just 10 shells. Make them count. 😈

What should this tiny demon-slaying pet run next?
