My love and connection towards India and Indian culture all started with the Bansuri! It was in August of 2016 when I decided I wanted to begin playing the flute. I decided I didn't want to play the steel flute but rather something different, a flute from another culture. So I did a little bit of research and stumbled across the bansuri (this was before I knew much about Indian culture, Krishna, and that Krishna was known for playing the bansuri). So I ordered one and began playing it the first day it arrived. It was an immediate connection I had with it. And 6 months later, I went back into my emails and noticed that the day my bansuri arrived at my house was in Krishna Janmashtami 🦚 😃. Ever since I found this beautiful instrument, I became more and more drawn towards India. I began learning hindi, playing hindustani sangeet, learning about different aspects of Hinduism, India's history, temple history, ect... My first visit to India was back in 2017 in Bangalore.

I knew right away that I had a second home 🇮🇳❤. I am in New Delhi now on my second trip and I met a wonderful girl in Goa, named Ruchi 😀. We are both travelers, and both very free spirited. I have found such a great partner who supports me in my journey and my goals in india. These days, I am learning many bollywood songs which I sing and play on guitar (as I am also a singer / guitarist). I also plan on recording a solo album this year which i have written entirely in hindi! India is amazing, colorful, and a place which will never cease to impress and surprise me! Mai Bharat se pyaar karta hun!
