I’m showing a few paintings as part of The Everyday Extraordinary at the Print House Gallery in Dalston until October 31st. I’m blessed to be showing alongside friends @ruthossaistudio @jaccartist @halina___edwards @kaydavisartist and other brilliant artists. And round the corner from my home and my studio. I’m so grateful for this community.😁Thank you so much @lukeossai for the invitation to be part of this!🙏🏾✨

@mslaurynhill commissioned me to create an installation for her @diasporacalling festival. A weekend of art, music and culture from across the diaspora, alongside a line up including @summaeverythang @alvarobarrington @kione_g @olaoluslawn @halina___edwards and an incredible group of artists, musicians and creatives. Massive thanks to @mslaurynhill for the invitation to be part of this and to curator @lisaanderson for making it happen!

The portal is officially open.

Today, we are proud to launch SLATROP, the inaugural exhibition of BoA Gallery (BoAG), a new virtual exhibition series by Blacks of Are.na.

Over the past several months, artists, curators, writers, and collaborators have come together to consider the portal not as a destination, but as a site of transformation—a threshold where memory, imagination, history, and possibility converge.

The result is a collection of works spanning collage, sculpture, video, photography, digital media, and mixed media. Some portals transport us through memory. Others through grief, imagination, intimacy, conflict, ancestry, or possibility. Together, they invite us to reconsider how we move between worlds, identities, and ways of knowing.
Thank you to every artist who trusted us with their work and to every community member who helped bring this vision to life.
The gallery is now live.

Visit the exhibition through the link in bio.

Displayed in this post are works that you can find on display in the gallery by our featured artists.
