🍂 A hidden waterfall escape in Ontario you need on your fall bucket list! 🇨🇦

Tucked away in Waterdown, near Hamilton, Smokey Hollow Falls is a beautiful little nature escape where a cascading waterfall meets a colourful autumn forest. 🤎🍁

Also known as Grindstone Falls, Waterdown Falls and Great Falls, this roughly 10-metre waterfall flows along Grindstone Creek, surrounded by a wooded ravine and scenic trails. It was once used to power a local sawmill, giving this peaceful spot a fascinating piece of Ontario history. 🌊

🥾 Explore the Waterdown Trail and its scenic ravine views.
📸 Capture autumn foliage, flowing water and beautiful forest scenery.
🌳 Enjoy a peaceful nature walk along the creek.

☕ Extend your trip with a coffee stop or a stroll through downtown Waterdown.

📍 LOCATION: Smokey Hollow Falls, 80 Mill Street South, Waterdown, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

🚗 Parking: A parking lot is available near the falls, but spaces can fill quickly, especially on fall weekends. Avoid roadside parking and check local access information before visiting.
