Yesterday I set up and started stitching @stacynashdesigns jingle ball class pattern called Nicholas. He’s such a sweetheart and quite an intricate design with lots of colours so far. I debated whether to stitch him on the called for 36 count Beige by WDW, but when I laid a few linen choices together with the threads, I decided to go with a 40 count French Pear by @handmadeatnumber12 🍐. As I don’t have any super Christmasy project bags sewn up yet, I decided to pair him with a pink and green one I made earlier this year, as well as threading up my pink sparkly thread palette by @gingerstitchau 🎀. Is anyone else stitching Nicholas? I’d love to hear about your fabric and thread choices- whether you’re sticking with the called for, or changing it up. I’m going to stitch him with mainly the called for threads now, but if I get a hankering to stitch him again, I’ll definitely change him up bit as the possibilities are endless 🌲🎄🌲

Another SAL up-to-date 💪🏼 - today it’s the Evergreen SAL by @sproutinglupine which I am absolutely loving - part four is the gorgeous cicadas (top right) and the Giant Walkingstick (bottom left).

These Celtic knot figures were so interesting to stitch! I can't imagine how you even start designing something as complex as these, let alone framing them with all the other perfectly balanced motifs. 8 pages of Latitude by LDS done, 4 to go.
