Spent a lovely afternoon playing with colour at Tash @handmakecreate beautiful store. Added a few more colours to my baby blanket. @kokonyarn light fingering merino linen and @myak_fibers Fior di Lino. Can’t wait to wrap a special little bubba in it, I’m going to be a grandma soon 🥰 can’t wait! Pattern is by @aliciapaulson

Knitting my #studio11ccscarf designed by my friend @lindarobbie in Bianca Studio11 singles from @handmakecreate and I’m in trouble today because all I want to do is knit on it!!! I’ve been in a major knitting drought and this has completely healed me!! You just need 2 skeins plus a 3.5mm needle 🩶 #circustonichandmade

I'm terrible at updating my socials with recent FOs and WIPs.
Here's my very first finished project - The Stay Toasty Scarf made with @kokonbleu fingering weight merino in daybreak held double from @handmakecreate and pattern by @kutovakika 💜

Engaging pattern and the perfect scarf to add a pop of colour and warmth to your outfit. 100% would knit again. 😍

Happy Easter! I finished the knitting of the panels of my Achillea Shawl (a desin by Dee Hardwicke). Yesterday I embroidered the flowerhead of one of my panels with the freshly arrived raspberry kidsilk mini. Love it! There is still quite some work to do, however: the wet blocking, weaving in the ends ,the sewing and the final edge... 😃 🐇🌷🐰🌼

Always pleased as punch to finish a knit! Linen and wool are such a nice combo @myak_fibers Fior do Lino in this hot pink ‘Anemone’. Perfect for this Sydney cool change x only used 4 balls from @handmakecreate

Making slow progress on this project. I already made 9 of these panels but two were frogged as one was off gauge and one did not fit with the colour scheme. I first wanted to make 12 panels but as I ordered a new colour, stone, I will probably make 16 panels. That will keep me off the streets... 😂 All yarn by Kokon Yarn. Some gifted and some bought (at Yarnz, which does not exist anymore 😢 and at Hand Make Create 🥰).

This was a quick and fun little project designed by Michelle of @kokonyarn and @kokonbleu It’s called the Sylvie Kidsilk Flower Brooch and I created my version using @kokonyarn Kidsilk Mohair in the colour Frou. I think it adds a little pop to my outfit today don’t you. It’s another WIP Wednesday!!! 🧶

We’re back this Wednesday with the #jeolsweater by @aegyoknit

And yet again another project where I’ve run out of wool on the last portion of the knit! I really seem to love playing yarn chicken 🐓 🙄

Thankfully I managed to head back to @handmakecreate to grab some more baby yak! Hand Make Create is just amazing and one of my fave yarn stores in Sydney - if you haven’t been you need to go!

This piece is so soft and I love the thought of tangentially getting to cuddle a baby yak everyday when I wear it.

One sleeve left to go and then begins the long wait until winter here in the southern hemisphere. Anyone else down under itching to put their cosy knits on?!
