🇬🇧
Over 200 women in Rwanda. One mascot, every single one made by hand.

Handspun Hope employs over 200 women in northern Rwanda. Many of them are genocide survivors. They hand-felt sculptures and spin yarn from naturally dyed Merino wool, shorn from their own flock.

They earn fair wages and get family health insurance, counselling and childcare. Together we are creating a limited series of mascots: 100 a year, each individually numbered and certified.

Collaboration instead of competition - this is
what the strength of our Consortium is built on.

Handspun Hope @handspunhope supports women who have experienced homelessness, illness, hunger and other forms of trauma every day. By offering not only employment, but also psychological and medical support, as well as genuine care for their personal growth, the organization helps women regain hope and build a new future.

It is through partnerships like these that we can
expand the reach of our work and create a meaningful impact in people’s lives far beyond our own borders. Because the essence of philanthropy is collaboration, not competition.

To właśnie dzięki takim partnerstwom możemy poszerzać zasięg naszego działania i wspólnie wywierać realny wpływ na życie ludzi - daleko poza własnymi granicami. Bo istotą filantropii jest współpraca, a nie konkurencja.

A huge thank you to Diana Wiley and the entire Handspun Hope team for donating these wonderful handmade toys. 🦍

This beautiful gesture comes from an organization that changes the lives of women in Rwanda every day by providing opportunities for education, employment, and a path toward a more independent future. Handspun Hope is a powerful example of how meaningful change can happen when support is combined with real opportunities for growth and empowerment.

Thank you for your kindness and dedication. We are grateful to support such impactful initiatives and to work together in bringing hope, opportunity, and joy to those who need it most.
