When people ask me what kind of shop @hanjipaperie is, this audio pretty much sums it up. 🤣

It’s half term week so we are closed this week and thanks to the storm I think a few cosy nights at home is just what i needed. Next open Saturday 31st October.

Stay safe everyone.

I’m teaching the viral Ori Folder Book at my shop @hanjipaperie on Saturday 14th November at 2pm

Want to make it in person, now’s your chance. It’s part of my winter workshop programme.

You can sign up at the website. Very few spots available.

Too far away - you can do the online class instead.

To get the links just comment ORI and I’ll send them to you asap!

I wish I could tell baby me, that one day I’d have a shop @hanjipaperie in a cute cobbled street in quaint market town and I’d make flowers and books and maps and that’s how I’d earn my full time wage, so I could raise my daughter as a solo mum and everything would actually be totally fine!

What would you say to baby you?

Single mum, mumpreneur, mother artist, mam, umma, girl power

Loved making this origami lampshade for @hanjipaperie

Absolutely hated hanging it lol. See my last reel for that disaster.

Perseverance is my bestie though so I’ll try and make it happen.

Two weeks since I reopened @hanjipaperie and made it my new making home.

Thanks to everyone who has visited me so far.

I’ll be doing a special event in a few weeks. Would you like to come?

Here’s a few snippets of when I remembered to turn my camera on. Enjoy!

Join me at @hanjipaperie to create your own origami moon on Halloween!

Hexham comes alive on Saturday 31st October with our very own Spook night and I’m joining the cultural offer by running a workshop (the first of many) to create your own paper moon.

There’s 3 time slots - please book in advance as I have limited places in the shop.

Tag your crafty mates! Let’s make an origami moon! 🌙🌚🕷️🕸️

Book via the website or comment Workshop and I’ll send you a link to your DMs

Don’t mind me… just being a poser out of my freshly painted shop @hanjipaperie
Thank you @suereedwrites for the impromptu photo shoot!

I still can’t believe I have a cute shop on a cobbled street in Northumberland. It’s like living in a story book!

Baby @yvettejah would not believe it if you told her. Here’s to dreams becoming things!

Paper Flower Workshops @hanjipaperie

If you missed out on these paper flower workshops at @novum_festival this summer, then fear not.

For my opening weekend I’ll be doing drop in flower workshops in my new shop space at @hanjipaperie

Just turn up. Limited space so come early. No experience needed, aimed at all ages.

See you tomorrow!

Thank you to the five wonderful ladies who came to my first workshop at the new @hanjipaperie

We learned exposed coptic books and it was a first time for everyone making this binding. What a great way to spend a rainy Sunday.
