Feeling grateful to all of the people who played canvas to my creative ideas over the years.

Whether I covered you in glitter or literal moss dug up from the ground, threw water on you or sprayed you with a hose, asked you to wear a gown on a mountain, in a cave, or in a lake, wrapped you in plastic, drove 4 hours at sunrise, or whatever else— thank you!

Today marks 7 years in America...

Those first summers I immediately went back to London to work, see my friends, train with my coach... but after that it wouldn't be for another 5 years until I went home...

And i honestly didn't realize how much I missed/needed it until I finally went back this January and had so many honest conversations, cried a lot, and realized how much I missed home.

I didn't expect to get emotional making this or typing this out, but I am. Going through all my pictures brought up a lot of bad memories since my time here, but it also reminded me of how I got out of those times and what has brought me so much joy. And every single time it has been my female friendships.

Without a doubt, I would not be here without my friends, and especially my girl friends. From when I first got here and didn't have a bed to sleep on, to giving me food because they knew I hadn't gotten to eat much that day. Introducing me to climbing and inviting me to trips to camp, climb, adventure... making me feel welcome on the mats after 8 years away from jiujitsu.

You have all made those good memories from the past 7 years outweigh the bad, and then some.

The visa and immigration process is very stressful. It's a whole thing, it costs a lot of money, it can feel restricting. And I'm having to go through it again now that I'm coming towards the end of my work visa. So if we hang and I'm more quiet than usual this is why. Plans are falling into place and it will pass.

Can you tell who's vegan and who isn't by what they bought to the Potluck? 😂😂😂

I was also 30 mins late to my own party, go figure 😂 so thank you @jsscprz for helping me set up and @christina_gdfht for helping me cook my own dish 🤣

I felt so so grateful to have all these wonderful people from multiple aspects of my life all together, having fun, eating good food and learning something new 🥰

Almost forgot that this is the whole point 🥰🥰🥰
