We are still landing from the beautiful LoveFest that was our wedding on the 8/8. It’s going to be very hard to communicate everything that this day meant to us and the big moments of connection that came with it.

However, our wonderful photographer @fable.andfern has done an amazing job of capturing images that seem to bring the emotions of the day to life. So we thought we would break the whole day into chunks that represent the different energies and practices we used to make this wedding such a powerful day.

We began with the preparation of the space, Aurora Borealis Retreat Centre and a teepee donated for our use by Joey Rochford and the Lakota/Wixarika practitioners. This whole weekend was a community effort with many of our friends gathering days in advance to help us decorate the teepee, put up bell tents, and prepare the food.

3. The day before four sisters created the Elemental altar ~ each choosing an element to bring to life
4. The elements forced us inside, which meant we could create a magical teepee space
5. Our ancestral altar
6. Banana getting excited hearing everyone arrive on the day
7. Two fairies who cleansed everyone entering the space
8. Joe being cleansed
9. Skye being cleansed
10. Entering the temple space to everyone singing Love (by @facesoul ) was so EPIC to have this choir lead by @cardamamaa & @pedrodoc82

We try to keep the names of our offerings as simple as possible, with no complicated schedule and gimmick classes. 🐶 🍷

Our yoga practice is an embodiment of breath, awareness and focus. All our teachers hold space in different ways to encourage you to explore, and be curious.

NEW WEEKLY CLASSES !
So pleased to introduce @hannahinflow who has recently joined the Shala teaching team. Hannah will be leading two new classes in the studio every week:

WEDNESDAY | 730pm yin yoga
FRIDAY | 7pm slow flow

Hannah has been teaching yoga for several years, and hopes to help you explore movement through a more functional lens. Affording students the freedom to explore, modify and adapt practice.

Expect a practice with Hannah to be playful. curious and compassionate, with an invitation to meet your edges with softness.
