Two years ago, One Love Reunion gave me so much more than a week away in Nashville. Packed with meaningful conversations, this event brought about new friendships and gave me an opportunity to connect with some unforgettable readers, plus ample chances to sit on panels talking about the stories we all love.

Now... I'm packing my bags and getting ready to do it all over again, this time in New Orleans!

Before #OLR26 begins, though, I wanted to take a little walk down memory lane and revisit some of my favorite moments from 2024. From the panel discussions to the book signing and all the laughter in between, it's a reminder of why this community is so special.

If you're heading to One Love Reunion next week, I can't wait to hug familiar faces, meet new readers, and celebrate another week full of romance, friends, and Black book joy.

Who's going to be there? Let me know below!

Ps: If you're in New Orleans, make sure to come out to the book signing happening on Saturday, July 25 at the Downtown Sheraton. It's FREE and open to the public from 12 to 3pm.

✨Only One Bed Book Club✨

Second meeting is in the books and it was SO FUN!
We had a wonderful discussion about Summer Romance by @annabelmonaghan , ate delicious food and drank coffee from @theyellowtablecafe , checked out @novelettebooksellers , and finished the day with @cone.cept ice cream!

So so glad I took a chance & posted on the internet to find other romance readers 🖤

Join us next month for In Her Own League!

Freedom is not a privilege, it is a right. We cannot be silent about police brutality. If you believe in freedom for all, share this! 🕊️✊🏽🎤

Sometimes all I know to do is sing, to let the song of freedom permeate through the noise. Nina Simone said it best: the artist must speak to the times. We are dealing with too much pain, too much brutality. Nothing new under the sun, unfortunately😔
