Join us for a brunch potluck to watch the finals of ADCC Worlds this Sunday! Since the event starts at 2 AM due to it being held in Poland, we will be watching the replays at a more reasonable hour.

Comment, DM, or tell us in person if you plan to attend so we know how many people to expect!

@valensjiujitsu celebrated our 1st year anniversary over the weekend and we had a blast!

@bif_malibu put on a heck of a show and filled all of our bellies with a meal at Sask poly tech put on by the students of his culinary program.

@jakemackenziebjj brought the heat with some great technique and his wonderful persona. It’s a privilege to be a part of this organization and to represent @gfteam_oficial

BIG congratulations to everyone who received a promotion this weekend. Seeing all of the smiles as these individuals take the next step in their journeys is something I’ll remember for a long time.

Good friend @jairmckinnon and I received our black belts and I feel honoured to have been promoted alongside him. My family walked into the club right before the promotions started and then it clicked for me and nearly brought me to tears.

This was an amazing moment and one of the biggest accomplishments of my life and I owe it all to @hanson1bjj. Andrew is one of my best friends and I wouldn’t have made it to black belt 🥋 without him. He is the heart and soul of @valensjiujitsu and pours everything he has into this sport and into his students. We’re so incredibly lucky to have him.

I’m looking forward to the continued growth of the club and what the future holds.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who reached out with kind words & messages.

We had some major belt promotions today! We have two new brown belts and three new blue belts! Congratulations to @bif_malibu and @code_and_chaoss on upgrading to their last belt before black. Congratulations to @chrisp6.2 @brent.schellenberg and @busymom16 on upgrading to your first colored belt! You're each a huge part of our gym and we're lucky to have you part of our team.
