BDKL11 was the first blues dance event I ever attended. The workshops with instructors Pencas and Viva were also the first classes I participated in this year.
Before the event began, I kept telling myself "Relax, be yourself, and enjoy". And above all, open my heart to all the new feelings, surprises, and be ready to make friends with everyone there.
On the last day of the event, I couldn't hold back my tears anymore. I cried in the sauna with my friends; I cried saying goodbye to Patience; I cried while packing; I cried on the plane; and I cried a few more times on the way back to Hanoi. I cried because so many emotions overwhelmed me; I received so much tenderness and love from everyone; I hugged and was hugged thousands times; my soul touched thousands of beautiful souls. Those amazing things made my heart feel too small to contain them all.
Thank you @bluesdancingkl for organizing such a wonderful event. Thank you for letting me be a part of BDKL11. Sending you all a warm and tight hug. See you soon! 🫂

My first time in Malaysia 🇲🇾

Came to KL for Blues, and left with so much more.

Danced a lot, ate way too much durian, walked around the city, met new friends, spent time with old ones, and had a birthday surrounded by people who made me feel so loved.

What I’ll remember most is still the people — the warmth, the conversations, the dances, the comedy, 😆😆😆and this Blues community that feels so much like a family.

Back home now, with a full heart and so many good memories. 💙

Oh hello~ Didn't see you there! Since you're here, let's take a look back at Blues Dancing KL's collab with Kapitan's Club at Yap Ah Shak House last Tuesday! Here are some of the many highlights from that wonderful evening! The collab is a part of the 2026 Blues Dancing Social Tour where each month, we will visit a different venue to Blues Dance! The tour is also in line with our Road To BDKL11!!
